Major newspapers of California and even National ones got a package that contained a printed copy of a book about Vampires.

After sources are checked and the publisher is contacted the story is put forward.

Print on Demand Publishing Houses are easy enough to use. Common enough businesses as some people will do anything to see their name in print. A person needs only enough money and you have a book that can be sold to the general public. Back in April of 2003 printed as an "Alternate Lifestyle" guide was a book about the new "Vampire" issues that are going on today. The now bankrupt Publishing company, which we were unable to reach for comment, published a book titled "The Path of Blood: A Warlock's Guide to Unlocking the power of the Pyramid". While at the time it was wildly popular in the County of Sonoma as a New Age Lifestyle fad it never really caught on outside the county. The first edition published 2,500 copies of the book that were sold out within a month. When the company fell on hard times they had to stop printing but were quickly bought by another company that tried to get a second book with a similar feel that had an Egyptian theme dealing with the myth of Set. However this book didn't sell at all.

Over the last few days after this news agency got a copy of the first book we have confirmed that these "Tremere" are indeed a faction of the Camarilla Vampire Society. Not only a faction but a founding and controlling faction of the Camarilla.

In the light of National events Sonoma County is shocked. Work has been missed as hundreds stay at home to watch the news reports of the outrageous incidents happening all over the nation.

Father Koeing a Catholic lead in the community has come forward to calm fears.

“The scenes we’ve seen on the television this past week have been amazing. Many are asking how the things we see could be real. This Day of TRUTH has been a test for everyone. We can no longer Deny that we are alone in the world. We must remember the teachings of Christ now more than ever. Anger isn’t the answer; we must hold the love of Christ in our hearts and stay our hands against our fellow, for all of God. We need only look to our President and know that all is being done to aid the community in this time of trail. Hope must be held close and given freely in this time when desperation might give way to rash action. Trust in your fellow man to lead you through this time of trial.”

While the majority of Sonoma County is following Father Koeing’s advice some are more interested in seeing who these Vampires or Kindred are. The local City Councils are currently working on figuring out if any Kindred are even living in Sonoma County. While they are not denying that Kindred might be in our County they have no proof as of yet.

DR: While it is important to determine the standing, rights, and place of vampires in society, the President does not feel, at this time, that there is enough demonstrative evidence that vampires should be considered citizens and afforded the protections of the Constitution. Many questions linger about vampiric society and its practices that are clearly against the laws of the United States. Until such time as these questions are answered, the President is unwilling to afford vampires the status of citizens, but is also unwilling to classify them as domestic terrorists or criminals. This matter is for the courts and the legislative branch to decide.

[Murmurs in the crowd]

DR: However, the executive branch must act, and we must protect the people of the US. To that end, the President has ordered the formation of the Department of Supernormal Affairs. This Department combines elements of both military and civillian personel to investigate the supernatural and determine its threat to the United States.

[pause as he checks his notes and takes a deep breath]

DR: The President has also decided that there is a gross injustice that must be corrected. A group of US citizens has faught valiantly against the monsterous predators that exist amongst vampires. These individuals have been prosecuted and persecuted, and the President has decided to rectify that situation.

As of 1 pm this afternoon, Caiaphus Smith and all members of the Hour of the Reckoning have received full pardons in recognition of their defense of the American way of life.

[murmurs in the crowd]

DR: Further, the President has named Mr. Sullivan Dane as special advisor to the Secretary of Supernormal Affairs. Mr. Dane has lengthy experience with the more violent side of vampires, and in methods to deal with such creatures.

However, the President has also asked that we approach this fairly and with a spirit of cautious hope. To that end, we have held discussions with the law enforcement branch of the Camarilla and come to an agreement in the hopes of building solutions and not more problems. As part of this agreement, the President has also named a member of the Camarilla as special advisor to the Secretary of Supernormal Affairs and granted him the status of "special agent" in the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Ladies and gentlemen of the press, Mr. Senneca Aurelius.

[enter Senneca from stage left. He is in his usual suit, but his shirt is actually buttoned and his tie is tied properly. Clipped to the lapel is FBI identification. There is a red thumb print on his forehead in some unidentifiable substance. Senneca shakes Rumsfeld's hand and stands behind him on the dias, unnaturally pale eyes scanning the crowd.]

DR: We must proceed cautiously in this time. Too many will resort to violence and fear. Instead, we should proceed with caution and patience in the hopes of building a stronger country.

NYTimes: What about the group known as the Sword of Caine?

Senneca: F*&%& those *^&%&(*.

DR: (sighs) The Sword of Caine has an opportunity to open discourse with the government. However, their past history indicates a strong tendancy towards violent crime and terrorist activity. As such, Secretary Ashcroft is working up a proposal on dealing with that group.

USA Today: Mr Aurelius, what do the Vampires want here in the US? Do vampires really -want- to be citizens of the US and the other countries they have appeared in?

Senneca: That's a stupid f&*^%ing question. Of course they do, the only reason we haven't tried before is that f*&^%(*&%*^* like Dane try to shove sticks in us.

Dane: (low growl)

The Globe: Mr Aurelius, do vampires really drink blood and die in sunlight? Will a stake through the heart kill you?

Senneca: Are you a *^$&^...

DR: (cuts in) That information is currently classified until a proper report can be disseminated to law enforcement and emergency rescue personel.

Chicago Tribune: Mr Dane, with the graphic images shown at the beginning of this press conference and the statement by the President, what would you recommend to the Vampires to keep this situation as calm as possible?

Dane: Stop killing people. Stop acting foolish. Don't let us find you committing crimes.

Q : Mr Aurelius, same question....

Senneca: (considers) I agree with f&^%wit.

Dane: (low growl)

Boston Globe: Will Mr. Aurelius be the only vampire on the Department staff?

DR: No. We are currently assessing our options, but we are working on setting up special task forces in state and federal law enforcement agencies. Our hope is that we can eventually blend teams to provide the most efficient blend of ability and efficiency. Ladies and Gentlemen, that's all we have time for right now.

The following is aired tonight on the local Fox News and ABC affiliates in Los Angeles. The story begins to gain steam afterwards, and sound bites are seen regionally.

IC:

*The following tape is shot on digital video from a camcorder. When the tape begins, you see a figure about 30 years old, dark brown hair, slightly stocky. He sits in a leather chair next to a wooden desk in a room that looks somewhat quaint in older decor. The man smiles, and vampire canines are clearly visible when he does so. Then he begins to speak, in a calm and rational voice.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the world, given what has happened tonight, it is clear that -now- is the time for someone to come forward and tell you the truth. -All- of the truth.

Because you, humanity, need to hear it. You need to understand. You need to be ready. For far too long--all of your history, in fact--we have been in the shadows. The monsters under your bed and in your closet, the howl in the darkness that makes you stay closer to the firelight. And now, once and for all, you deserve to know the truth.

My name is Samuel Keaton.

And I am a Vampire."

The man pauses as though to let the words sink in, then continues.

"Of course, we do not call ourselves that. We use the word 'Kindred', a word of deception that allows us to pretend that we are all friends, and that we can use in front of you without you being entirely clear what we speak of.

That ability--to exist beside you without you being aware--is our first priority to our existence. Once, that was not the case--indeed, your mythologies come from the fact that once upon a time, your kind knew we were there.

But then came the Inquisition--yes, the Catholic Inquisition of nearly 500 years ago, and we were targeted at least as much, if not more, than witches and heretics. Indeed, there are many Kindred who believe we were the true targets of that Inquisition.

And so, in order to eradicate our existence from your conscious minds, we developed a society of secrecy, a society where we devoted great resource and time to making us into children's tales and horror stories.

We developed a society known as the Camarilla."

He pauses a second time, and drinks from a wine glass. It is -clear- that the drink is of a darker tint than wine...a blood red, in fact.

"The Camarilla exists throughout most of the Western Civilized world, in Europe and North America. There are leaders at a local level, at a national level, and globally. Wherever you are, we exist. In nearly every town and city throughout the Western Civilized world.

Through the Camarilla, we have managed to stay deep in the shadows of the real world, living in the night as the old wives' tales would believe us to be. The Camarilla has always claimed that the best way for us to remain in existence is for you to ignore we exist. Look what happened during the Inquisition, they say--we were nearly destroyed.

That can never happen again, for when humans see something they do not understand, they immediately destroy it."

He smiles, this time without the canines. "I believe better of mankind. I believe it is our fear that is the true danger here, not yours. Once, perhaps, mankind would not have been ready for us. Now, however, you believe in aliens although most of you have never seen one. You believe in reality television, in the internet, and in digitally created armies fighting against the Empire and for the Jedi.

You can accept the truth, now. And it is time you do so. I have waited for this moment for months now, knowing that the end of the secrecy was coming. What I hope to see, why I have recorded myself, is in the hopes that this will not be the destruction of your world--but rather its salvation."

He pauses and takes another sip, his tongue licking his lips slightly.

"I imagine you all will have a million questions, and I cannot answer them all in one moment. But I -will- answer the obvious ones, the ones that I know are already within your minds."

He holds up a finger with each question he asks. "One. How does one become a vampire, a Kindred? There is only one way. One must be drained of all blood, to the edge of death, and just as the heart dies one must take a sip of a Kindred's own blood. That sip is enough for you to return to full existence as a Vampire. So yes, that part of the tales remain true. There is an additional aspect, however--each Vampire made becomes one of several familes--bloodlines, as it were, almost like the ancient royal families of Europe.

These familes number many, but include lines known as Ventrue, Toreador, Malkavian, Brujah, Nosferatu, Tremere, Gangrel, Giovanni, Lasombra, Tzmisce, Ravnos, Assamite and Setite. Each of the families is defined by a different original Vampire, and by different...abilities...that are common to those of that family.

Two. Are Vampires immortal? The answer is no, or rather, not entirely. We do not age after we are 'Embraced', another vague term that means 'becoming a Vampire'. The reason we do not age is because we are, for practical terms, dead. We have no heartbeats, nor does our hair or fingernails grow. It is the nature of the blood that makes us Vampires that allows us to maintain our existence beyond that moment of death. So if we are never harmed, then yes, we can exist for a long, long time. I personally know Kindred who have been around since the fall of the Library at Alexandria.

However, we -can- be killed. Fire will destroy us, as will being in direct sunlight. If our heads are removed that will destroy us. The stake in the heart of classic mythology is a trick we snuck past you, however--a stake will not kill us. It -will-, however- immobilize us...which has its own advantages, of course. And, of course, in this day and age, enough bullets from an Uzi (especially with rounds that explode into fire when they hit) can drop us pretty quickly as well.

And yes, this means I have now told you how to kill us. Again, it is

-my- hope that you will take my knowledge and put it to good use, not simply start the grave-searching parties. But, of course, you all have free will and must do as you think is correct.

Three. How do we stay alive? Just as the myths tell you, we must drink blood. Some of us have managed to learn to live off of the blood of animals, but the truth is most of us drink from humans. And most of the time from -willing- humans--you'd be surprised how many of you find that appealing or desirable. We must drink every other day or so, although mythology is worse than reality for once on this aspect--rarely do we kill those we feed from. And when we do, it is a mistake and that Kindred is usually dealt with very harshly by our own kind.

Four. How many Kindred are there? Several thousand, I believe, although no one has an exact count. Enough that a large city like Los Angeles, where I live, has easily 50 or more in it. Smaller cities have less--we try not to allow too many in any one place; makes the feeding too hard on the population, if we do.

Five. Tell me more about this society, the Camarilla. I can do exactly that, and add some information about the other society that formed in the Inquisition as well, a darker society of Kindred. The Camarilla is a rigid hierarchy where the rules are laid out and everyone is supposed to follow them, for the good of mankind.

The rules are simple, six in number. We call them the Traditions, but they are rules, nonetheless. The first deals with not telling humans we exist. The second says that if you 'claim' an area (such as a city or a club where you feed from), you are responsible for that area. The third says if you wish to make another Vampire, you must get permission--again, trying to keep the population down so you all don't get fed from too often. The fourth says if a Vampire you make screws up, you and that Vampire can be killed--a way to keep the first Tradition safe. The fifth is about hospitality--basically, if you are in someone else's place, play nice. The final is about destruction--only a leader of an area, the most important Kindred, can order another Kindred's death.

This last one may be a little complicated to understand, but we are basically humans who were given a long time to live but at the cost of drinking human blood. Imagine how after centuries that could make one a little...trigger happy...when someone else makes them angry. This helps to maintain a civilized society, and as a general rule stops such things as what happened at Indigo 209 from happening."

He smiles, suddenly, a real smile. "Except, of course, for tonight, where it failed utterly."

He drinks again. "Those are our rules. They are maintained at a local level by several offices. A Prince is the leader of a city, and runs it as they see fit. They have a Sheriff, who is a classic policeman for the Kindred, as we cannot for obvious reasons use normal police--since we were not supposed to exist. There are also Primogen, who are the voices for concerns in a city from a given family, such as the Brujah which is the family I was made part of when I was Embraced.

At a higher level, there are Archons--people whose job is to protect the Camarilla wherever they are sent. Envision them as the old Marshalls of the Wild West, or perhaps FBI Agents in the time of the Untouchables. And there are Justicars, who are the most powerful Kindred in a given country--Princes of the United States, or of England, for example. They have the power to kill any other Vampire in their lands. They might, for example, kill me for recording this videotape..." His voice trails off for a second, and he looks at a leather-bound book next to him on the desk. "I still feel you should all be told the truth, now, for your own good. You -deserve- the complete story, or as complete as I can make it in one videotape.

So that is the Camarilla, in a nutshell. A basically feudal system with a global overarching heirarchy. And, as I said, we are everywhere.

Indeed, many of your companies and industries are actually owned by us, through hidden and false names. But again, our intention was to remain hidden from you...although the reasons for such are no longer valid."

His voice grows more somber. "There is another group of Kindred out there, however, who are more dangerous. They are a group known as the Sabbat. They believe that you, humans, are inferior to them and that they are the next stage of human evolution. As such, they have always wanted to come out into the open and take control of your lives. Now that the Masquerade is shattered, they may well attempt to do so. If that happens, they must be stopped. We will, I guarantee you, be fighting them. I sincerely hope if mankind decides to fight us, it is the Sabbat they war against. The Camarilla is a peaceful organization, with the exception of the feeding off humans concept. I am certain we can all work something out in regards to that."

He stops and thinks for a moment. "Although it is not a Tradition, there is one last thing I should mention, and that is the concept of Elysium. These are the places of wonder and joy within your world--places like art museums and so forth. We often gather in places such as those, late at night when you cannot see us, and these places are sacred. They are places of peace, where even Kindred who are wanted by Archons or Justicars can come and go safely--they are places where the joy and wonder are so great, we do not wish to see them harmed in any way by any violence. If you ever wish to meet a Kindred safely, those would be the best places to go. Just make sure you make certain it is an Elysium immediately. That would protect you very well. In fact, if possble find the Keeper of Elysium immediately--that is another position within the local Camarilla hierarchies. They will help you remain safe, especially after tonight."

He takes one last sip, and then leans forward, eyes intently looking directly into the camera. "I may never get another chance to speak to the world, and it is imperative that you hear and recognize that what I am saying is the truth. If you doubt my word, here are the names of many of those within the Camarilla of Los Angeles and within the greater Camarilla. Seek them out, and you will see that I am speaking the truth, even if I die for so doing."

He closes his eyes, and begins to recite a list of Kindred. "Veronica, Ventrue Prince of Los Angeles Mateo, Toreador Primogen of Los Angeles and Toreador Family Head John, Gangrel Sheriff of Los Angeles Oubliette, Malkavian Primogen of Los Angeles Hunter Simon, Keeper of Elysium of Los Angeles Conrad von Gift, Nosferatu Primogen of Los Angeles Athena, Archon to Justicar Quasimodo John Circe, Archon to Justicar Hardstadt Quasimodo, Nosferatu Justicar of North America Hardstadt, Ventrue Justicar of North America"

He opens his eyes again. "There are many, many more, of course, but these are those who will have the most answers for you, the humans, and for the government of the United States. If you wish their locations, ask Project Keyhole. I am certain they are aware of their locations."

Samuel smiles one last time, and this one is one of real love...apparently for those he is speaking to through the camera. He picks up the book beside him.

"This is a book you -all- must read. It is called 'Dies Ignes', which translates into 'Days of Fire', and it explains how we came to be, and what can be done in the coming days to make certain mankind stays safe. PLEASE find a copy of it and read it--I have made computer versions of the book, scanned copies, and have been circulating them to as many blogs and email groups as I can reach in the mess that this Masquerade-breach is causing with the internet. But find this book, and read it.

For there is one dark aspect I must inform you all about--that monster, that THING that was being attacked tonight. It is one of the most ancient of our Kindred, and it has woken after centuries of sleep.

Others are waking as well, and if you--if all of mankind--is not aware of the dangers, and has not readied themselves for their survival, we may all be in grave danger. Most of us--most Kindred, period--are doing everything we can to protect you all from this danger. But it is my great hope that if you understand the truth of all that I tell you, you will fight for your world as much as we intend to fight for it."

Samuel remains seated forward, looking directly and lovingly into the camera. "Most of my kind have forgotten, but I -know- we came from the mortal world once. Some of us only 10 years ago, some 10,000...but at first we were all human. We are -still- your brethren, even now. Find Days of Fire, read it, and learn why this is the end of our time on this world, and the beginning of your end to a world that has so often been shrouded in darkness.

Step forward, humanity, for the coming age belongs to you. I have seen it, and I know you will survive and prosper when we are finished here."

He sits back, and holds the book up once more, so that it is clearly visible. "As I said, my kind may destroy me for telling you all such clear truth, but it is necessary. The time for secrets is past, and this is the time for the real and honest truth. Should I survive, I will send out more messages of help. For while most of my kind are terrified tonight, I am glad.

You needed to know we are here. Now you will see the light of day, and return to the place of grace where we can no longer follow. And when we see that happen, we will finally be able to remove ourselves from this role of monster of your nightmares.

Do not be afraid, ladies and gentlemen. Understand, and fight the darkness once and for all.

Thank you for your time."

*The camera stays on him for a few more seconds, focusing even a little tighter as his canines visibly slide down into place as he smiles one last time. Then the videotape ends.*

UK RELIGIOUS LEADERS CALL FOR CALM.

10:30 - 11:30pm, EDT - Every 15 minutes the following news report will play on CNN, FOX and other major news Networks.

Male Anchorperson - We are getting reports of mass chaos and rioting in a trendy club district of Miami, FL. This is rumored to have begun between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM. Details are minimal now, but we can confirm there is significant property damage and loss to life. Our authorities explain they have not ascertained the exact nature of the threat, however the Epicenter seems to be traced back to the popular nightspot, Indigo 209. We will continue to bring you updates as the story unfolds.

11:30pm - 1:00am, EDT - Every 15 minutes the following news report will play on CNN, FOX and other major news Networks.

[The Logo - "Chaos in Miami" is used to fade into this news story which is now taking top billing. The scene unfolds upon a male and female anchorman sitting at a desk.]

Female Anchorperson - Riots rocked a trendy club district in Miami tonight. At approximately 10:30 Eastern time, the popular nightspot Indigo 209 erupted into violence. Authorities are not providing details at this time, but early eyewitness reports describe close to two hundred revelers spilling into the streets. No estimate is available of deaths or property damage at this time, but before our sources were cut off, they claimed there had been serious injuries. I understand we have film of the area . . . Jim, can we get that running? Jim . . .?

Cut to a fuzzy video shot from a helicopter. At first only smoke is visible . . . Then debris. Then something massive-and moving. Its heavy bulk dwarfs busses as it slides through the smoke and over a smashed SUV. Cut to black.

Male Anchorperson - I'm not sure what we just saw there . . . That was the scene outside Indigo 209, a popular club spot in downtown Miami tonight. You can make out the edge of the club there in the corner, as well as what seemed to be some smashed vehicles . . . Jim, can we run that bit again?

Again it plays. There is something coldly chilling about the feed, something as mysterious as the glimpse of a monster through a shaky hand-held cam.

Male Anchorperson - Do we have any more of that footage, Jim? No? [looks grave] Jim is telling me that this is the last feed we received from the WPIX news chopper; we have no further contact with WPIX or its chopper . . .

Again and again, the sketchy details. A second view of something . . . Big . . . Moving through the streets. Maybe it's a hoax. It has to be a hoax.

Female Anchorperson - I'm talking with Steve Trevor, a longtime Miami resident who escaped the Miami club district tonight just before it erupted into violence, violence that he says was part of a terrorist attack. Steve, what can you tell me about what happened tonight?

Distorted voice on phone, nearly hysterical - I dunno, Jana. My friend and I were leaving another club and I saw people running from down the block. There was smoke everywhere and I thought it was a fire, you know? And then we heard the noise, we heard something big, something rumbling down the street, and there was glass breaking and people screaming and I ran . . . It was a bomb, a big bomb . . .

Female anchorperson - Steve, I'm sorry to cut you off, but we just received tape of a 9-11 call . . . Please stay on the line, Steve, we'll want to hear more from you later. Again, this is a call recorded by the emergency services personnel of Miami, reportedly from an eyewitness outside Indigo 209, the scene of intense rioting tonight.

Second voice on phone - Oh God, you've got to help me! Please, please send someone-

Second voice - I can't calm down, you [edited] calm down! We need cops, and ambulances, and God it's destroying everything--

[The CNN logo fades into the screen. Deep red lettering appears stating "Monsters Among Us" with shadowy figures moving in the background.]

Male anchorperson - New details are emerging from the destruction of Miami's hotspot nightclub, Indigo 209, at 10:30 tonight. Early reports claimed that the scene was part of a terrorist attack; other reports actually claimed that a massive monster emerged from under the club, destroying everything in its path.

Female anchorperson - From this confusion has emerged a story that some people would be inclined to label a hoax, a prank on the level of the famed "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast. However-we cannot stress this enough-this is not a hoax. This is not fiction.

Male anchorperson - Latest reports, confirmed by the National Security Agency, state that this incident was the latest manifestation of a phenomenon previously confined to fiction and the supernatural. This surprising announcement, verified through multiple government bureaus and confirmed independently by CNN and its sources, states that humanity is not alone. Indeed, vampires walk among us.

Female anchorperson - Long thought to be creatures of myth and legend, vampires are creatures that consume human blood to survive. These creatures are, in fact, highly allergic to sunlight, which causes immediate and devastating breakdown of tissue on a cellular level. Like their fictional counterparts, they are possessed of special abilities. Many are rumored to have survived centuries due to their consumption of human blood.

Male anchorperson - Please let us stress again that this is not a hoax. This startling news was made public upon the destruction of Miami nightclub Indigo 209 earlier tonight. Authorities now claim that vampires were present at the destruction of the nightclub, apparently waging war with some kind of supernatural beast. James Mc Neil, a tourist, caught this on film during the attack on Miami.

[They cut to a poorly shot camcorder recording of the fight. A large, monstrous fleshy form about 5 buses large with tentacles, mouth, and writhing faces of pain throughoutthe form. About 70-80 "things" attack it. Most are human looking, but nearly all are moving at supernatural speeds. Throughout the 10 minutes of filming, a variety of outstanding and paranormal actions occur. Including: Nosferatu unmasked. Chiropteran Marauder throwing lightning bolts. Gargoyles throwing helicopters at the monstrous form. Shadow creatures delivering blows. Human forms throwing fire. Human forms shifting to wolves. Human forms going to mist. Cars being wielded by humans as melee items. A Volcano appeared in the middle of the street. And a man PC's have come to know as Enigma created a Pillar of Flame. The whole nine yards. A world class Masquerade breach.

Many faces can be recognizable if players are familiar with the PC's. Female anchorperson - Authorities claim that these "vampires" are numerous and dangerous. They are NOT to be persecuted. If you suspect that someone in your neighborhood is a vampire, do NOT attempt to confront this individual in any way. Most vampires have been living among humans peacefully for hundreds of years, say authorities, although some claims of citizenship may be disputed.

Elderly male talking head - Well, Jana, for years I've read the vampire legend as a sort of metaphor for the primitive terror of premature burial, a fear that was very real for people in many cultures up until the end of the 19th century-

Female anchorperson - I see, Professor. But what can you tell us about these REAL vampires?

Elderly male talking head - Well, the legends would seem to be correct: fire and sunlight would hurt them, as would intense damage to the heart or severing the head. I wouldn't recommend garlic, though . . .

Female anchorperson - Thank you, Professor. We're going now live to an interview with Kat Carsons, a woman who claims to know several real-life vampires in her city. Kat, what can you tell us about real vampires?

Young woman in black - They're real, and they're wonderful. My boyfriend is a vampire, and it's true what they say: he never gets older, he's so strong and so handsome, and so what if he's a little cold sometimes? He's promised to make me one, too . . . They can do that, you know.

Male anchorperson - Yes, as Jana said, thank you, Kat. An impassioned plea for peace from an impassioned young woman. Let's cut now to Dover Smith, from Marion, Virginia.

Disembodied voice - I just want to say, why the HELL is the government not doing nothing about this problem? I got kids, I pay my taxes, and how long have they known there are blood-drinking monsters out there?

Male anchorperson - That's an excellent question, Mr. Smith. Indeed, how long has the government known there were monsters in our midst . . .?

PERU - Monster ravages city of Arequipa, Vampires assumed at fault. Eye-witness reports a large fleshy and tentacled creature moving down the streets destroying everything in it's path. The creature burst forth from beneath the city and began it's rampage at 9:30 PM Saturday night, July 17th. Interviews with survivors report "super powered" individuals fighting this creature, assumed to be Vampires. Led by a local Priest, the town took up torches and assaulted the creature as well as the assumed Vampires and destroyed all of them. The death toll is considered to be upwards of 600.

Female Anchorperson: During the tragedy in Miami a number of individuals displaying exceptional abilities who have been later identified as the mythical Vampires seemed to be battling the large monstrous creature that was rampaging the city. Indeed some of them went out of their way risking their well being to protect innocent bystanders.

Large imposing man: "Indigo 209 was off the hook. Will Smith had shown up with his entourage and things were starting to get hot. P. Diddy and his crew were there as well. It was like this was the hottest place to be and there were enough Hot chicks to go around. You know. Then there was an explosion and all I could see was smoke. People were screaming and I saw it. There was this thing. With tentacles. I totally *BEEEP* myself! As it touched people they began melting into it and it got bigger. I ran like a mo-*beeeep*-er, but I could not get out. Just before that thing was gonna eat me, this hot chick wearing a leather corset and high heels jumped in between us and threw me over her shoulder and ran me out of there. I'm better she weighed a a buck-oh-nine, and we were running fast. Like 60 miles an hour. She set me down, and looked at me before she flashed her fangs in a smile and said 'Leave. Now.' She ran back in to save more people. Man, I am in love. Hot Vampire Chick! I love you!!!"

Female Anchorperson: We've also discovered information that the Vampire Government, known as the "Camarilla" is dedicated to living peaceably alongside humans, taking care of us and ensuring they are never discovered. They have been doing this for centuries, and until now have escaped notice. Are they here to destroy us or are the here to live peaceably aside us? The UN Security Council will be convening on Wednesday to discuss that very matter. Until then, I leave you with this video.

Early Sunday AM, Saskatoon, Sasketchewan was rocked by a phenomenon the government, or the world, has yet been able to explain. A twelve mile radius originating from a suburban district suddenly and with cause is accountable for the death of all vegetation and human life. Current estimates have placed the death toll in the thousands. Earlier reports describe futuristic lights and arrays of energy emanating from a home within this suburban district. What followed next is supported only by digital cameras as their owners were killed during the blast. These digital cameras show a monstrosity exiting the home, followed by what appears to be several males with the ability to throw fire bolts of some nature. (CAMERA: Images of a Horrid Form creature, followed by engaging Tremere, throwing flame bolts. PCs will recognize Jacob Dalton of the Saint John Tremere Clan and Gareth Bane of the Vancover Tremere) Residents of the surrounding area are being asked to evacuate.

Further digital images show this monstrous creature apparently being burned the appearance of the morning sun, as if in reference to the old legends of vampires. To add to this phenomenon sources indicate such creatures do exist as evident by the last three males engaging this creature likewise began to 'burn' under the sun's rays.

Authorities believe these events may be in link with the recent events in Miami, Florida. More to come as this event unfolds.

The anchor speaks of a tragedy in Antwerp at approximately 4am on July 18, the last in a long line of bloodshed and tragedy. This time an amateur video artist was able to capture footage on tape. Slightly blurry film shows a carnival on a large town square. The carnival is obviously closing down as few people are still on rides. Suddenly the camera rocks. An explosion can briefly be seen in the background. The camera tries to zoom in on the site of the explosion. At first it is not clear what is actually transpiring on the scene, then two men dressed in robes come running down the street followed by something out of a Hollywood horror flick. The creature, as it can only be described as such, is a 20 meter high monstrosity of pale flesh. It has uncountable tentacles which it uses to slide forward. Hundreds of mouths can be seen in the mass. Mouths with sharp teeth, seemingly hungry for all they can devour. The last scene is that the mass is slithering closer to the house where the camera artist is filming from. The tape goes black.

As time goes by, reports come in of casualties. People dragged from their homes and devoured by the beast. Men, women, children, pets....all are taken by the hunger. The creature was last seen burrowing underground to the South-West of Antwerp
