The Night’s Blooming opens to RAVE reviews. The Opening weekend brought in so much business that the owners had to ask the city for spcial permits to keep it running into the wee hours of the morning.

The club, which had a hard time getting off the ground, due to local housing concerns. The residential housing all around the area was very vocal in it’s concerns over noise. However, because the designs by the architect for Nights, Trei DuMont of the architecture firm DuMont Designs, presented such a bold plan for the building all concerns were quieted.

“The local High Society scene will never be the same. Our common belief that the nightlife of Santa Rosa is dead isn’t true anymore,” quote from the Society Editor.

The Wine Train Moves In

In another daring and bold move Elizabeth Lee-Wilhelm secures Rail Road for the Santa Rosa Resort. One of the promised features of the new resort was its Train Tour of the Wine Country. With a bravo that hasn’t been seen sense the old Rail Tycoons of the Gold Rush area Miss Lee-Wilhelm showed the North Coast Railroad Authority that Santa Rosa was a place for Trains. “It was simple really,” she said to the press, “all I did was illustrate to them all the money that would be gained for their organization and puff it all fell into place.”

However simple Miss Lee-Wilhelm wishes to make it sound we have been following the reported impossibility of getting the Rail to move again in Santa Rosa and nothing short of the State Congress was going to get it to happen before she got here. Local Labor Unions are very excited about the jobs that this will be opening up.
