Santa Rosa - Final totals on the Earth Quake are in and it wasn’t the Big One. While the quake lasted for a meager ten seconds, it had the feel of a much more powerful quake. Early reports reported it as a 6.0 quake but that has been down graded to a 5.4 quake.

While some damage was done most of Santa Rosa has reported that nothing beyond minor damage was done. The Maacama, a little-known fault, runs from Cloverdale to Windsor is to blame for this shaker. Unlike its more famous cousins, Rodgers Creek or San Andreas, this fault hasn’t had a major quake in over twenty years.

Well-Dressed Madness

Santa Rosa – On Saturday night Police responded to reports of trouble near the 3rd street 101 on ramp. Officers confronted three gang members that ended with one Officer dead and two others barely escaping a firefight. The leader of the crazed drug gang was a well-dressed man in an all white suite with a top hat. They were very smart to never get into the direct line of the Cop cars video cameras so we only have the eyewitness description of the three people. Police are looking for the three currently but have no leads as of yet.

Murder in the Rails & Roses

It would seem that a murder happened while the rest of the Santa Rosa citizenry were trying to recover from the earthquake. While murder is hardly a new thing in Santa Rosa it is the first for the new Mega Resort “Rail of Wine & Roses”. A young woman whose identity is being with held until family can be contacted was stabbed to death by an unknown attacker. The only leads the police are willing to put forward are that the crime may fit a profile already on file.

RALLY: Demonstration rivals 1991 Gulf War protest

In the largest anti-war protest in Sonoma County in more than a decade, thousands of peace activists marched through the heart of Santa Rosa on Sunday, waving signs, banging drums and chanting "No blood for oil" to protest a possible war against Iraq.

Police Shuffle

The Sonoma County Sheriffs department is doing an odd bit of shuffling its forces for this holiday season. The Cities of Windsor and Sonoma have requested that the Sheriff’s department aid them in efforts to enforce drug trafficking through some of their areas.

Woman Crucified!!

Santa Rosa, CA - In what can only be called the most horrific act of mob violence to ever strike Santa Rosa a young woman was crucified by a grieving mob.

Earlier today Father Walter Koeing gave an hour-long talk on the evil of Pagan rites and the beauty of the Christian Faith that had lifted the spirits of those grieving for Samantha Jones (see article below). The assembled, some seventy-five strong, that were grieving over the lost of Samantha Jones suddenly turned on one of their own. A young woman Wendy Reynolds who showed up with her father and mother were the focus of the Mob.

Facts are a bit unsure at this point but Wendy is the mother of one of the Vampire Babies that was featured in the paper a few weeks ago. Now Wendy an unwed mother wasn’t able to defend herself from the Mobs wish to blame her for the Pagan rite killing of Ms. Jones. Her father and mother both were beating to a bloody mess while their daughter was crucified. Now it may seem impossible to a calm rational person how this could happen but a Mob is totally uncontrollable.

Father Koeing who has left the house earlier that day can’t be reached for comment.

More information will be broadcast as it we find out more about this ghastly scene.

Ritual Murder

Santa Rosa, CA – Is it possible that Pagans are that bold as to kill a completely innocent Woman in the name of Satan? Early Sunday morning in some bizarre full moon pagan rite Samantha Jones was killed. I’m sure all political minded people will remember that Ms. Jones was a City Council member for Santa Rosa during the late 80’s and early 90’s. Over the last ten years she was the only woman on the Board of Directors of the political consulting firm New Age Philosophy, Inc. where she has been a valued member of the community.

A great many of friends and family have come to her house to support for each other and leave flowers. Father Walter Koeing will be speaking at Ms. Jones house today to help ease the pain of this lose.

Spontaneous Human Combustion

Santa Rosa, CA – Science-Fiction or Science Fact? Over the years we’ve all heard stories about the possibility of Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC) but never before has a victim shown up in Santa Rosa. Theo Oaks, former City Council member of Rohnert Park (1980-1986) and Healdsburg (1973-1979) is the first documented case of the SHC in Sonoma County. How might this have happened is still a mystery that local medical officials are looking into.

Sentor Wellstone Dies

EVELETH, Minn. - Sen. Paul Wellstone was killed Friday when his small chartered plane crashed near an airport runway, Democratic sources said.

The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the 58-year-old senator, in the midst of a grueling re-election campaign, died along with members of his family and staff as well as two pilots.

Wellstone’s campaign manager confirmed the death of the lawmaker one of the Senate’s most prominent liberals in the final days of his campaign for a third term in the Senate. Wellstone cast his vote earlier this month against legislation to authorize the use of force in Iraq virtually the only Democrat in a competitive race to go against President Bush on the issue.
