Weapon Calamities Variant in Advanced Civilization

A variant by: Eric Raabe

When playing Adv Civ I sort of miss the fact that the tradeable calamities in plain 'ol Civ were used as weapons, to be traded to a specific target or held onto for a later attack or discarded in favor of peace. I thought of mixing in the regular backed calamity cards from the original Civ deck as 'weapon calamities' (and possibly mixing in the commodities from Civ to keep the decks balanced). The weapon calamities are treated like the calamities from original Civ; if one is traded to you you have to keep it, and they can be held onto or discarded like commodities. The other change would be to allow these weapons would be that a player is affected by ALL weapon calamities traded to them, no limit. (and if you're vicious, make two weapons only count as one for the total number of calamities a person can be primary victim of; so a player can be hit by two weapon calamities and one normal calamity in a turn, instead of just discarding the normal one).
