Born in the Australian outback to Aboriginal parents, Spread was born under the star sign Vagitarius, which made him a respected and much admired member of his tribe. He became interested in music at a very early age becoming a master of the dijeridoo. He fell in love however and married his high school sweetheart. He settled down and became a maker of hats. Had it not been for an unforeseen tragic accident that took the life of his wife and most of his tribe, he would have been content to remain there for the rest of his days. Heartbroken and angry, he moved as far as he could from his homeland and settled in Texarkana, Texas. He lost himself in a world of fast cars, faster women, hard drugs and booze. He started a jazz band called "Mother's Lap" and began touring, eventually ending up in Austin's own Brackenridge Hospital's emergency room, the result of an apparent overdose of cheap liquor and biker speed. While recuperating, he met up with a strange fellow named Slowpoke who invited him to sit in with Ugly Americans. The rest is history. While not performing, Spread enjoys S & M, listening to Hanson and Aboriginal Vegan Lasagna. He loves women who are sweet on the inside and his favorite expression is "Part the Whiskers". |
