A large male.  Actually, I think he's more in the medium sized range.

A male bobbing in the water along a more isolated beach.  This guy actually looked like he was sleeping most of the time.

These things were everywhere in tidal pools -- this one was in a puddle on top of some rocks.

Hearst Castle in the background.

Nitt Witt Ridge (according to the sign, but it's more commonly listed as Nit Wit Ridge).  If you're in Cambria, I hightly recommend that you call Mike O'Malley at 805-927-2690 to arrange a tour.  It's the other side of the whole Hearst Castle experience.

I was very impressed by Amy's sunset picture, with two seagulls in the foreground and one in the air!
