Three Stadter Boys! - June, 2004

Yes, I know, it's been a long time since we updated this site - sorry, we've been a little busy. As you can see. When the twins were five months old we got a really big surprise - they were going to be big brothers! On June 29, 2004 we welcomed their little brother, Joseph Andrew, to the clan. The red spot on his forehead went away after a few days, he decided to come out face up instead of the normal direction and got his very fist boo boo in the process! You can see all his gooey newborn pics at the link at the top of the page - Brother Joey Update - some are a little graphic - be warned!

Joey is definitely photogenic - here's our littlest show off at 4 months old. No, in spite of the fact that most of his pictures make him look like a red head, he isn't. It was dark brown with a blond streak to start, and gets lighter everyday.
Three Stadter Boys Under Two

Here's all three of our little men in October of 2004, the twins are 18 months and Joey is 4 months. My wonderful friends at work bought us a triple stroller as a shower gift, and boy does it turn some heads at the mall! Once Joey's a bit bigger everyone's going to think they're triplets. Some folks have already called them 'Irish Triplets' - pretty funny.

Here's Joey again at 6 months old. How cute is this?? He's a BIG baby, 95% for height and 80% for weight. We plan to retire on his NFL football salary. Joey's a happy guy, too, sleeps through the night and has never met a stranger. I think he had stranger anxiety for about five minutes one day when the Parents as Teachers lady came to the house, he finally warmed up to her and has never had another problem with it.
Stadter Boys - The Twins are Two! - April 2005

Wow, time flies. Jonny and Will are two, and boy are they a handful! Jonny loves his baby brother although we're starting to see signs of competition when Joe grabs a toy that is Jonny's. Oh, and ALL the toys are Jonny's, just so you're all clear on that. Luckily Will is an easy going kind of guy, but I'm afraid that Jonny's in for a rude awakening when Joey's a little older.

Will is our miracle baby. He continues to have some challenges with high muscle tone in his legs, but he walks and runs and climbs all over now. Will is a real sweetheart, too, loves to give hugs and kisses and is finally starting to talk a lot more - it took him a while, I think mostly because Jonny was talking so much he couldn't get a word in edgewise.
Three Stadter Boys! - June, 2005

Wow, did I mention that time is flying now? Joey is 1! He took his first steps the night before his birthday party. Joe is the spitting image of my father, right down to the sticky outy ears, if only Dad would have lived to see him. It's been a big year so far, we sold our little house in North County, somehow two bedrooms just wasn't going to cut it anymore - and moved down to Crestwood, just two doors down from my Mom, she loves it and the boys do, too. And Jon and I actually get to go out once in a while!

Here's our little shutterbug again, somehow the soup pot is appropriate, this is a BIG child. He's already wearing the same size diapers as his brothers and is rapidly catching up on clothes size, too. Joey is a delight, except when he's teething, then he bites. Honestly, I will not know when he's teething in the future except by his temper, because I am NOT sticking my fingers voluntarily into this child's mouth ever again. Ouch!
The Stadter Family - November 2005

Here are our three little guys again, almost exactly a year after the shot above with the three of them on the bench. I can't believe how big they've all gotten already. Joey is now wearing the same size diapers and clothes as his brothers, although he's still about 2 inches shorter. They're all such good boys and we're so blessed to have them.

Well here we all are, you'll notice the glazed, but happy looks on Mommy and Daddy's faces. Two seconds before this shot I was dragging Joey back from edge of the platform and Jonny back onto my lap. Will was loving every minute of it and kept yelling 'Again, again!' every time the flash went off. We won't wait a year to update the site again, promise!
