Take a look at other Boomerangs from around the world
The new Boomerang Mkll is a canard style aircraft (small wing up front) with double-taper rear swept wings. The wingspan is 52 inches. After more than four years of flying the original version, I've improved the airfoil, aerodynamics, and looks.  The front gear door is now a clamshell design with two smaller doors instead on one big one.  It has a .36 size motor mounted in a pusher configuration. The canard is used as the elevator to control the pitch while the ailerons on the main wing control the roll axis. If you use a transmitter that has mixing capabilities, the ailerons can be programmed as elevons and then mixed with the canard. This setup can give the plane unbelievable pitch change performance. The plane has 7 standard size servos to operate the control surfaces, tri-cycle retractable landing gear, and the front gear door. The ready to fly weight is about 5 1/2 pounds. It has been clocked with radar at 109 MPH and although that is pretty fast for many, the plane handles well. It may take a few flights for you to become familiar with the unique shape of this bird.   It looks quite different.

You can order the  plans,  a kit, or a decal, for The Boomerang now.
