Here are photos of other Boomerangs that have been constructed by my customers.  Each plane is just a little bit different. That's one of the things that makes this hobby so neat!  If some of you other Boomerang builders would like to see your plane here, send me a photo.

jdboom2.jpg (36893 bytes) This Boomerang was built by J.D. Duncan of Pleasanton, CA. USA

He installed fixed landing gear and a Tower Hobbies .40 motor swinging a 10x6 prop. JD says he really enjoys flying this bird.

Brian Jones of the United Kingdom sent this photo of his Boomerang.  Brian says that  he also installed fixed landing gear because he flys off grass. No details on the motor he used.  He say's the plane is fast, easy to land, and gets a lot of attention when he arrives at the field.   Brian also says we're lucky to have  the sunny weather we get here in California. ukboom.jpg (69239 bytes)
hugh1.jpg (32158 bytes) Here's a Boomerang built by Hugh Gary of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, USA.  Hugh used automotive base and clearcoat paints for the finish.  The engine is an O.S. - .40 LA.  Notice the way Hugh has cowled in the engine at the rear.  Nice job!
These next two Boomerangs were built by a couple of buddies flying out of southern California.  They both did an outstanding job.

This Boomerang is owned by Helcio Trindade.  He made some modifications while building his
bird using an additional servo in the landing gear
set up.  This servo controls the front langing gear
door using a delay program from his Futaba radio.  He also uses an OS .46 for power which has a cowl around it, a larger 12 oz. fuel tank, and a 10X6 APC prop. As you can see in the photo, the fit and finish are very nice!

Helcio says he loves flying this plane every Sunday at Sepulveda Basin near Los Angeles, CA.

rehak boom .jpg (50161 bytes) Milos Rehak is the builder and owner of the
Booomerang shown at the left. Like his buddy above, his plane also runs an OS .46 motor, uses the extra gear door servo but he uses a Gear Door Delay system manufactured by EMS. He also uses a 10x6 APC prop, and a larger fuel tank which is obviously needed for the larger motor.  As you can see, Milos modified the canopy mounting just a bit which gives the plane a slightly different look.  Just like his buddy above, the fit and finish are very nice indeed.

The skies are alive over the Sepulveda Basin when these two guys are flying these birds!
