Bruce Balfour signed copies of The Forge of Mars at Borderlands Books in San Francisco in September, 2002, where he was privileged to meet many fine people who took the time to drive out there, stand in line, and pretend not to be disappointed when they discovered that he wa not actually a cashier at a fast food window.
