ABOUT MY BIKE
I'm currently customizing a 1988 Honda VLX 600. It's my first VLX, I bought her new in '88 and she's got 104,000 miles on her right now. She served as faithful transportation for 13 years before I parked her to give her a rest. In the time that she's been sitting, I've had a 2000 Indian Scout (sold to help pay for school), and another VLX, a '96 model that I customized a little bit and now resides in Tennessee (Thanks, Mike! and you should have another box heading your way shortly!). After selling the '96, I was left with the prospect of either buying another bike, or taking a little time off from riding and do a full on rebuild of the '88. Since I've just started a new career, it seemed the time was right to take a little time off, concentrate on the new job, and do the '88 in my spare time. So here I am, virtually bikeless for the first time in a very long time.
I'll be updating this project as I get more done, photos taken, and most important of all, time!
