Saddlebag Guards, TS Relocation
Sooner or later, you'll need to carry some stuff on your bike. Saddlebags are the answer. I added some MC Enterprises saddlebag guards, Willie and Max SB707 Compact Slant bags and while everything was apart, I decided to add some Cobra rear turn signal relocation kits to move the signal closer in to the fender.
Start by removing the seat, taillight and the rear fender.
The guards mount to the underside of one of the crossbraces on the frame, under the seat.
Use the supplied hardware to attach the guards to the crossbraces.
The bags mount under the seat, but over the fender. Tie the bags together tightly so they don't droop when installed.
Use the supplied cords to attach the bags securely to the guards so they don't fly around in the wind.
For the Cobra kit, remove both of the signals (1 screw on the housing mounts and 1 on the backside of the frame mount).
Substitute the new Cobra mounts for the stockers, and button it all back together.
Just a couple of disassembly pictures
