Homer is the father of the Simpson house in Springfield. He is about 36, balding, overweight and very, very stupid. He is married to  Marge  and has three children:  Bart ,  Lisa  &  Maggie . He works at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant as a safety inspector in sector 7G. His father is Abe 'Grandpa' Simpson and his mother is Mona Simpson.

While Homer is not a smart man, he has led an amazingly interesting life. Homers main vice is beer. Duff beer and TV are the bread & water of Homer J Simpson. He frequents Moes Tavern where his friends Barney, Lenny, Carl and Moe the bartender spend a lot of time.

While Homer is not really a good father, he usually tries to be. He just can't remember their names all the time. Homers family is embarrassed by him, but do love him. While he can be rude, mean and impatient, Homer has a heart deep down.
