Sung Tse Kit (Leslie Chung), a dedicated policeman blames his brother, Tse Ho (Ti Lung), who is a gangster for their father's death as well as for obstructing his career in the force. Ho is betrayed by his boss, Tam Shing (Lee Tse Ho) and is caught in a criminal operation and put in jail. Upon his release, Ho finds out that his old partner, Mark (Chow Yun Fat), has been made a cripple by Tam. The pair decides to get even with Tam. Ho's heroic acts help him win back his brother's love and respect. Brent's Note: This is Woo's best overall film. It is in Chinese, however, and is only available subtitled. Also, the subtitles are unintentionally amusing at times, but this movie is worth the trouble. |
