This Resurrection Day (Easter) card is by Joy Marie (that's me). This is a design that is easy to do. I made a dozen in one day. You simply cut out a single sided cross out of brown construction paper. I used dark brown because it goes with almost any other color. This is designed to become a bookmark instead of sitting in a drawer. Cut out any flowers you really like from old seed catalogs and then arrange them on the center of the cross. It is fine to have them overflowing beyond the boundaries of the cross shape. It also looks great to have them be a little off center, or arranged on the diagonal as this one is. These make great gifts to Christian friends. |
