Dar'sal

The tall feline standing before you can only be described as dark, even though he's a black panther. His close cropped black hair is only a few shades darker than his fur, leaving his white rimmed ears free to swivel and flick at the different sounds around him. His greenish yellow eyes have a tendancey to narrow, even when he's in the best of moods, as he looks out at the world around him. The contrast between his fur and eyes gives them the illusion of glowing. Across his left cheek is a set of four parallel scars which look reasonably fresh, but are actually old. His nose pad also has a pink scar across it with white fur spreading out from it along the bridge of his nose. Several long white whiskers frame his muzzle and seem to only add to his dark demeanor.
He stands roughly eight feet seven inches, and is almost pure muscle from his life of traveling and mercenary work. His arms, though lean are very well muscled, as are his legs, accenting his barrel chest and narrow waist. He wears a light grey shirt, left open most of the time so his chest can be seen and the few scars he has there. His pants are made from a tough leather that looks as though its seen better days with the legs tucked into his calf high boots. Over all of this, he wears a long duster style coat, obscuring any weapons he may have tucked away.
Peeking just beneath his coat is the tip of his long white and black tail. His paw like hands though rather large and thick for his lean build, have white fingers a band of white around his wrists. He also has a thin band of white around his neck. Also, around his neck is a thick silver chain with a round pendant that has a claw symbol etched into it and a few small gems around the edge. This feline never smiles, instead, a sneer crosses his muzzle when ever it pleases him, leaving a stern emotionless look the rest of the time, even when he notices someone looking at him.

Background:	Dar'sal was born in the town of Rahi, located in country of Mata Nui. He recveals very very little of his past. Only enough to people know that he is related to the guardian of Haven distantly and has tried on several occassions to destroy the wily old cat. At one time, he was the general of a vast army, which was decimated by Sabbath and a curse she placed on them all. Even he and his mentor, Matoro, were caught by the same curse, but quick thinking on his mentor's part slowed the process until something could found to break it. Until then, he wander around, hiring out his skills and capturing females of any race to sell into slavery so he can rebuild his army with the gold earned.
Misc Info:	Dar'sal's dark heart leds him to live during the night where his black fur offers him the most concealment from his prey and enemies. Only if he absolutely has to does he venture out during the day. He is exceptional with his dartgun, and has many other weapons concealed in his coat to take care of anything he comes across out in the wilds.
