Character Requests

To get a character in this MUCK, you need only provide a few things. All of these will be explained why.

1. Character Name:
   Naturally, you have to have this. If you do not know if a name is being used, type ul #all in the MUCK and it'll give you a list of everyone on the MUCK, active and inactive. You can have any type of name you want as long as it is original.
   


2. One thing you must remember, all character names must either be all one word such as IvanIvanovich, hyphonated such as Darron-Mask, with an underscore such as Drake_Zarcon, or with an apostrophy such as Khal'ni. Spaces will not be recognized by the muck software like MUD, MUSH, MUX, or MOOs.
   


3. Password:
   We ask that you provide us with a password to start off with because our imaginations are sorely limited when it comes to this. We can provide one, but then that would mean you have to log in ASAP to change it.
   


4. Email:
   This is needed so we can contact you when your character has been created, the server moving or going down for long periods of time, among other things. We also use this to warn you when your character is in danger of being @toaded from being idle too long.
   


5. RL Name:
   You don't have to provide your full name, just something so we can keep track of your character and alts with. Each time you request an alt, you must provide the same name so the database will recognize it.
   

After reading all of this, you fill out the character request form and wait for a reply email. If you send one in while you are looking around as a guest, then let Bast know and she'll check it out, but please do not pester her. She could be busy. From there, we will add your email address to the private list and create your character. We do ask that you read all the news files, not just this one, before requesting a character. Hotmail, Yahoo, and other non-ISP accounts are welcomed.
