The setting sun throws a multitude of yellows, oranges, and deep reds across the late-evening sky, the faint glow of the already-risen moon dominating what portions of the sky are black or gray. A thick, meaty scent fills the air from the slightly old meat of the deer corpse left there a couple of nights ago. Surprisingly, only a couple of the smaller carnivorous or omnivorous forest animals touched it, and then they only managed to pick off a few of the smaller, more appetizing pieces. *SPLish...SPLASH* The sound of something large trotting along just on one side of the river near the deer splits the otherwise still air...not an owl hoots, not a bird calls...it seems as if the wind itself is waiting in patient anticipation for something...
Dracos yawns gently and steps out of the river, shaking his foot claws off. He lifts his head and sniffs slightly...hmm...it was still there? Surely the kill from the night before is not still there? He takes a few steps towards where he last remembered it, spots it, and snorts...it WAS still there. Perhaps a little old, but still good enough to eat...at least some of it. Much better then killing another animal...might as well dig in before it DOES go bad. He takes a couple of steps towards the old kill, and inhales its scent deeply, making a face...ok, a LITTLE bad...
Quietly, far into the trees walks a small dwarf. He moves stealthily, although his huge body mass prevents perfect silence. He has his massive battle-axe drawn, and is constantly scanning the area around him as he is watching for something.
Izuriel peeks through the leaves hoping the creature from the other night had stayed. He moved carefully, downwind from the location he last met the raptor. His new skills paying off as he only heard leaves crunch now and then, and quieter even. He looks through the leaves again readying his hands on the black-gemmed dagger, just in case.
Kya-Kya licks her lips a few times, having returned to 'her' forest from visiting elsewhere. Fur ruffling in downwind breeze, the tan feline pads steadily along towards the pool further up the river, tail flicking low. Sniffing, she pauses, glancing around at something in the air and sits at the river's edge for a moment, quite a distance down from the others.
Dracos makes another face and snorts at the old meat, shaking his head. Yes, it was definitely bad...too bad for even HIM to eat. With another snort, he trots a few feet away from his would-be dinner and sighs gently, lying down on his side. He lets his mind wander, staring upwards at the golden, fiery sky, watching as the sun ever so slowly sets, and the nighttime stars begin to dominate the heavens.
ZadethDacrojec notices some crackling somewhere in the woods, he looks through the woods for Izuriel, making sure he has his back. He then moves quietly toward the crackling hoping to spot the creature that is making this sound, if it is a creature. He crouches under some brush and checks his back.
"Aha!" Izuriel whispers to himself. He had found him, right next to some dead animal and by the smell, it was DEAD. He draws the black dagger, then draws the white. Looking for Dacrojec through the leaves he doesn't seem to see him. Turning back to the raptor he figures alone or not, this is his best chance. Yelling "NOW!" and leaping from the bushes he dashes towards the huge animal. "You're mine!" He throws himself and his daggers towards the raptor.
Slowly gazing around, the feline frowns as she pauses further down by the river, sniffing. There's....-something-, different. But it seems to be several things in different areas. Listening to the wind, she hrms softly and strongly walks upriver, glancing around carefully. At the unintelligible shout further on, she blinks and stops short, eyes flashing as she stares through the trees and waning light, seeing nothing. 'Not familiar...' she thinks, eyes narrowing.
"What the shi..!" The raptor's voice is suddenly cut off as a surprised look crosses his face, his slitted, amber eyes growing wide at the sudden appearance of Izuriel. He curses himself for not being more aware, letting his mind wander...a terrible mistake. With a hiss the raptor attempts to quickly get to his feet, the grass sliding under his claws as he tries to backpedal (while sitting) away from the quickly advancing demi-elf. Finally, he manages to get a little footing, though it might be too late...the demi-elf is nearly upon him!
Izuriel throws all his weight into the leap for the raptor. His chance to at least scratch him before the battle turned around, unless his hireling was still there to get his back. He smiles at the raptor and while leaping says, "It wasn't wise to piss me off!"
ZadethDacrojec, noticing Izuriel's advance, is still too far from the raptor to attack with a blow of his massive battle-axe. He quickly reaches for the throwing axe resting on his belt, stands and with grunt, he throws with all his might towards the raptor, hoping the axe if misses will give him time to charge in and get a good swing with his weapon.
Kya-Kya stalks hurriedly up the shore, almost at a run as she hears faint commotion. Can't see anyone yet, but something smells wrong, and it won't be in -her- part of the forest if she can help it. Throat rumbling softly, light flickers over sleek, shifting fur as she moves, soon catching sight of a strange elf-like figure, and....Dracos? Eyes flashing, she blinks and lifts up on her feet, a couple yards away from them and frowns. What the.... the feline blinks again, hearing steps and glances to the side to see a dwarf coming from that direction to join, quickly looking over and growls. Oh no he doesn't, her eyes narrow as she darts around unseen through the trees to intercept him.
The raptor's eyes widen as he peers upward at the descending demi-elf, his eyes flicking between the two daggers. It is now or never... he quickly rolls to the side, leaps to his feet, and jumps clear, landing on his stomach some three feet away. With a growl, he quickly leaps back to his feet, crouching down into a fighting stance. Hmph...attack him off guard...after he already spared his life? That is unforgivable! *Whiffwhiffwhiffwhiffwhiff..* He blinks and cocks his head to the side, and the axe flies right by where his snout used to be. The blade bites deeply into his shoulder, though does not lodge there, and continues right on its way, cutting a deep swath in the earth where it landed. With a gasp, the raptor collapses to one knee, one of his claws sliding up to his shoulder, feeling the warm blood rush down his chest and over his claw...he...was bleeding. His eyes lock on the dwarf as he comes rushing towards him...he had cut him...for what reason?!
Dracos growls and slowly gets back to both of his feet, his eyes narrowing at Izuriel, then the dwarf. He is out of harms way, for the moment it seems... "You...YOU..." Each word seems to get deeper, and a slight hiss begins to take place at the end of each. "You...dare...ATTACK... ME?!?!?!" The raptor's eyes begin to turn a slight red around the edges, the normal whites around them turning to a light shade of pink. He appears to lose his entire cool, his intelligence...and simply launches himself at Izuriel, claws bared!
ZadethDacrojec moves as quickly as his stubby legs will carry him, his dwarf adrenaline rushing. He is so caught up in trying to help Izuriel that he completely does not notice Kya move off in the distance. The grass rushing over his feet and sweat running down his brow. He begins to become skeptical about what he has done realizing that he has unleashed a beast, and Izuriel may end up paying for it. He quickly lunges at the raptor hoping to ram him out of the way before he hits Izuriel.
Izuriel gleams and leaps down flat on the ground hoping the raged raptor won't have time to react. As he lands dirt flies up in all directions. He glances at the dwarf coming, so he was still there, good. Returning his state of mind back to his idea he stiffens himself and hopes the raptor can avoid stepping on him. He was still new to dual weapons and showed that thus far. His slit eyes taking in all the action they see before him, watching for any sign to attack or flee. Suddenly spotting the gash in his shoulders, his he thinks to himself, 'I mustn't do much more to him.'
Kya-Kya rrrrs softly, not reaching the dwarf's path in time and spins on her feet, just a short distance behind the stranger as she watches it try to help the other. Growling, she jumps forward a bit, a strongly sharp gust of wind springing forth at the same time, moving over her against the dwarf and threatening to bowl him over with the force of air.
Though he is possibly a little off-balance from the wind, the dwarf's lunge does land, right in the raptor's side. Normally, it probably would not have did anything...possibly not even budge him. However, the raptor is already pre-occupied with another prey...Izuriel. The sheer momentum of the dwarf's 'push' tosses the large reptile off balance, and sends him crashing to the ground on his stomach right beside Izuriel, possibly saving his life...
Izuriel, taking advantage of the raptor, rolls over thrusting the daggers multiple times at the raptor. Hoping to at least hit him once. His eyes are full of dirt, unable to get a clear picture of the beast. He shakes his head, then wiping his eyes with a gauntlet he partly relieves one enough to get a clear image of the raptor. Two wounds now, this was far more successful than he imagined.
ZadethDacrojec, lying on his back next to the huge beast, rolls over quickly onto his belly and stumbles onto his feet. He seems to have lost his battle-axe. He looks along the ground around the beast and notices it lying where he was a second ago, it must have been knocked from him in the assault. He reaches for the axe, hoping the raging beast is too stunned by Izuriel's attack to attack him.
Breathing deeply in annoyance, tan fur blurs as the cat rushes around, rumbling. Still focused on the dwarf, she bounds lithely forward, spinning on her feet and stepping near the axe, slightly over it and snarls. Stopping Zadeth momentarily, she spats, eyes flashing daringly as she glares over, fur puffed out and ears splayed.
The dagger plunges to the hilt in the raptor's flank, the dull *thud* of metal hitting bone, and penetrating just slightly, sounding on the 'battlefield'. The raptor growls deep in his chest, almost as if he had simply not even felt the blow. At the dagger rises and falls again, it plunges into the raptor's side, just above his hips, the blade buried halfway in his tough hide. With a yelp, he rolls over, jerking the dagger from Izuriel's grip, and leaving it deep in his side. He attempts to get to his feet, collapses once, then finally manages, his stiff tail swaying behind him as he gets ready to pounce again. The flailing tail whacks the dwarf right on the temples, and he collapses in a heap, not moving, yet still breathing steadily...he moans weakly, though does not appear as if he will get up yet. The raptor all but ignores the dwarf for the moment, takes a step towards Izuriel while he is cleaning the dust from his eyes, lifts his wounded leg, and makes a cross-body chop at him, the massive scythe-like
claw on his inner toe flying towards the elf's body.
Izuriel manages to clean eyes in time to see the claw, rolling to dodge he feels the claw make a clean cut from his shoulder down past his elbow. Sharp pain coursed through his arm before spreading like a wave a locust to the rest of his body. He drops his other dagger and staggers to his feet grasping the wounded arm. Blood pouring over the black leather of his gauntlets. He looks the raptor in the eyes slightly agitated. A new strength filling him, letting go of the wounded arm he draws the Celestial Blade with his right arm. "Well, then, I suppose we must finish this now?"
Kya-Kya growls softly at the dwarf, daring him to try reaching for the axe. Blinking, she stops and glances up slightly as the raptor's tail flicks roughly over, knocking Zadeth down. Hrmm...convenient. Tail lashing, she glances over at the nearby elf and Dracos, gaze narrowing and rrrfs. Standing slightly behind and to the side of the raptor, her eyes flash strongly as she watches the elf's actions and hisses, stepping near.
Blood pours down the raptor's chest from the deep slice wound in his shoulder, and his left leg is positively covered in blood, from both the dagger wound in his leg, and from the dagger that still protrudes from his side. He hisses and takes a step towards Izuriel, the leg nearly giving out under him, though he does manage to keep his feet. It looks that, if his leg were not wounded, he would charge right at Izuriel, regardless of the dangers. The red tint around his eyes seems to grow deeper and deeper with every little bit of blood loss, the 'rage' causing his entire body to shake. The pink around his amber eyes begins to turn a deep blood-red as his vision is clouded by the anger...of course, it does not really matter at the moment. Though, rather then going after Izuriel, he turns towards his new prey...Kya. He obviously cannot distinguish friend from foe in his current enraged state, and it does not look as if he really care...he growls deeply, and takes a swipe at Kya's side with one of his forepaw cla
ws.
Izuriel notes Draco's movements towards Kya. "Watch out! I think he'll attack." Not wanting the feline to get hurt because of his anger he charges and throws himself, bad arm first, into the side of the large raptor. He hopes to take the attention off Kya long enough for her to steer clear of the raptor. Why wasn't she scared anyways, it seems as though she actually protected the raptor. Hmm? He pushes the thoughts aside knowing he must focus on the battle at hand, pain coursing ever more through his arm.
Kya-Kya blinks, green eyes flashing quite wide as she quickly glances over at Dracos as he shifts focus. Her torso arches as she instantly darts back, ducking to the side as the claw 'whooshes' over. Momentarily startled by the 'warning', she flashes the elf an odd glance, ears splaying as he tries to move between and hisses, a wind buffeting the elf back out of immediate touch. Eyes flickering in angry confusion, she stands firmly and watches Izuriel, unmoving except for checking her side, carefully glancing over to see where Dracos is, noticing his red gaze.
Zadeth's head is still spinning from the powerful attack of the beast he was paid to hunt. He realizes that he is in a bad position and could easily be slain if he does not escape harms way. In his panic to escape he realizes that he has forgotten to grab his axe and has left it lying on the ground now three feet from the raptor's feet. "Arg, how could I be so ignorant," now his only hope is to reach the throwing axe now 10 feet from his position. His head begins to spin more because of all his movement, and his eyes begin to grey. "Oh no," this is not a good time to black out. He rolls onto his belly, before his conscious slowly fades away, he says with all the voice he can muster up, "Help me, Izuriel."
Though the wind did manage to push Izuriel away, it did not manage to do so before Izuriel had got a little push in. The raptor stumbles slightly, his 'wounded' leg falling out from under him. He lands on his side with a *THUD*, his gaze now locked on newer...and closer...prey. The dwarf is scarcely four feet away from him. With a growl, the raptor slowly gets back to his feet, stalking towards the dwarf as he struggles weakly to get the axe. His eyes are nearly fully red now, and his entire body is shaking, though whether it is from his current, enraged state, or from loss of blood, it is hard to tell. The raptor reaches the dwarf and slams his injured leg down right in the center of his back, leaning forward onto it...then slowly...SLOWLY lets the massive scythe-like claw on his inner toe penetrate the dwarf's skin, sliding slowly down into his backbone....
Izuriel, having landed on the ground in a great deal of pain he manages another fumble to his feet. He watches the raptor attack the dwarf, no worries. After all, he was just a hired hand. He moves backwards and grabs his remaining dagger from in the dirt. His torn cap fluttering out behind him as he gave one more look back at the group. He disappears into the leaves of the trees moving away the way he came. He couldn't fight injured, and no matter what that dwarf couldn't have been saved. He stops and, sheathing the dagger and his sword, rips the cape from his back. It's replaceable. Throwing it aside with its many holes and stains from the dirt. He takes another glance back, wondering if he should go back. After moments of thought he figured, no.
Kya-Kya spats, shaking her head as she steps away from the others, fur ruffled. Glaring over, she warily watches the elf retrieve his dagger and move back, rumbling softly and takes a step over to make sure. Watching the spot where he disappeared for a moment, her gaze narrows, frowning over her shoulder at the remainders, bristling slightly.
ZadethDacrojec, feeling the immense pain in his back as the huge beast presses his claw slowly into his back, he is quickly awakened from his unconsciousness. He yells in pain, cursing Izuriel for not helping him and the beast who tortures him. He begins to feel the warm blood rushing from his wound and realizes that there is no way for him to survive. He slowly closes his mouth and blacks out again, this time because of the immense pain, knowing that he will not awake, hoping to find a better life in the after world.
Breathing softly, the feline remains standing on all fours, head lowered slightly as she glances over. Eyes flickering out to the trees in case, she sniffs and rrrs softly, remaining quietly where she is, tail flicking.
A terrible, thick ripping sound echoes around the forest as the raptor viciously rips his claw back out, severing the Dwarf's spine just above his hips. The enraged reptile steps forward, grasps the Dwarf's hair with one 'hand', and pulls his head back. He then slowly inserts one of his forepaw claws into the side of the Dwarf's neck, slowly and easily sliding the razor-sharp talon from one side of his neck to the other. A slight, soggy gurgle escapes the dwarf's neck as his throat is slit, and then he falls silent and still.... The raptor, however, does not appear to be done yet. As the warm blood rushes over the creature's claws, his reptilian eyes slowly scan his surroundings...looking for more prey...and he spots it. Kya. With a hiss, the raptor gets back to his feet and stalks slowly towards her, his injured leg keeping him from anything more then a walk...
Kya-Kya's expression squints slightly at the sound, glancing down. Frowning, she tries to shake her head clear, eyes catching his movement as she does so and blinks. Sharply glancing over, her gaze strongly focuses on the raptor gazing back at her, tail lashing once. Ears splaying, her fur ruffles as she pulls her head back slightly, growling and stands put. "Dracos!"
The raptor stops at the mention of his name, a strange expression crossing his face. He cocks his head to the side, as if puzzled...the red tint to his eyes slowly begins to fade, most likely from loss of blood. He gasps once, staggers slightly towards Kya, then falls onto his side with a *THUD*. The dagger is still protruding from his side. He begins to shiver gently, his hoarse voice calling gently "K...K...Kyaa...."
Kya-Kya continues glaring warily over, standing tensely and softly rumbles. As the raptor's expression and movements change, her ears flick forward to hear, expression pained. Wincing, she bounds over and noses once, warm air flowing over as she shifts her weight on her paws, glancing down him and swallows, moving to lean near side and carefully tilts head to bite her teeth down on the handle, tail restlessly twitching.
The raptor seems to have totally gone through the 'transformation' now, and is his old self...except for the injuries. Earlier, he had simply shrugged them off as if they were nothing, though now they are taking their toll. As soon as your teeth touch the handle, the raptor cries out in pain, his teeth gritting together. He mutters through his tightly clenched teeth, his hoarse voice just scarcely understandable "Take it out...quick...AhhhHHHHHH!"
Kya-Kya flinches back at the cry, but only briefly, eyes glinting as her tail lashes, teeth pulling gently and the gentle rush of air over his injuries helping the bleeding. The feral looking cat dodges back a step and turns slightly, dropping the blade with an expression of disgust, shaking her head. Turning back, she frowns and shushes him with a strong touch of her nose to his muzzle, eyes flashing in a mixed look as she gives a lick, the strangely warm sensation of air still tingling on his hide. "Shh. Don't move."
Dracos ignores your warning at first slowly flipping onto his back with a small grin. The whole front of his chest and stomach is positively covered in his own blood that is still continually leaking from the deep slash in his shoulder. Also, as soon as the dagger is removed, blood begins to rush out of the wound "Ahhh....damnit Kya...." His voice his hoarse, though not yet weak "I think this is it. I doubt I will be making it out of this one....ahhh...my side...."
Kya-Kya glares at him, shifting slightly as he moves and sits close. A paw rests against air pressing slightly against him as it slowly stops the bleeding. Pulling out the side blade the same way, she makes a face, touching near the area as warm pressure covers it. "You'll be fine..." she mutters.
Dracos almost looks like he will push you away from him for a moment, though he simply lets his claw fall weakly back to his side. His breath comes in hard, heavy gasps, though it does not appear as if he is having any trouble breathing. "Kya...I don’t think I will b.." He blinks as the bleeding slowly begins to lessen. "What...?"
Kya-Kya strongly stares over for a moment, green eyes flashing. Expression unchanging, she tucks her legs under her and sits/curls next to, rrring. Offering no reply, the cat continues staring down him, fingers slightly touching, the light pressure they give strangely felt almost all over, tail tip twitching.
As the warm, light sensation seems to spread over the raptor's body, he seems to begin to calm down. His breathing, though earlier harsh, begins to slowly...ever so slowly...calm down "Kya...what are you doing?" Though his voice does not seem to gain any strength, it does not appear to be quite so hoarse any longer.
Kya-Kya's eyes flicker with a strange light, crouched and curled up a bit, still staring slightly down. Tilting her head out to sniff, she noses slightly and rrrs. "Stopped your wounds a bit...but you should still probably move carefully." she mrrs as though it were nothing, her expression still distant and exhales softly, making an effort to offer a smile over. "Water would help too." she comments wryly and mwrrrs a bit, bunched up by his leg.
Dracos blinks, his eyes widening "You...stopped my wounds...how...never mind. I don't want to know. Thank you, Kya..." Though his wounds do still bleed the very slightest bit, they seem to be slowing down, and some of them stopping. His shoulder stops bleeding, as does his leg...and only a very slight amount of red shows through his side. Though the rest of him is still caked in his own blood, the thick, acidic scent dominating the air. "Yes...water. Why in the hell does this happen to me...how am I supposed to hunt..." He attempts to move his injured leg, wincing the slightest bit. Ever since he had left his 'rage', it seems to have simply shut down, and refuses to respond.
Kya-Kya smiles faintly at the question and words after, nodding slightly and noses. Relaxing limply, she also tucks her arms against her, fur brushing by as she shifts, settling down. Sighing softly, a shoulder tilts very slightly in uncertainty, looking away, then meets his gaze. "I...I don't know..." she murmurs softly, glancing over and rests her head down next to arm.
Dracos lifts his arm, wincing as his shoulder begins to bleed against, though only slightly. He snorts and gently puts his arm across on of your foot-paws, sighing "Thanks Kya..." His voice trails off in mid-sentence, a strange expression crossing his face. "Kya...what did I do...I do not remember..." He blinks and tilts his head from side to side, eventually spotting the mangled corpse of the dwarf, throat slit and back ripped wide open. His eyes widen, and he stutters "K-kya...please t-t-tell me I d-did not do that...?"
Kya-Kya shivers slightly and gently breathes out, calmly closing eyes now. Sensing the touch, she purrs faintly, muzzle slightly shifting. Curled tightly up close, her eyes slowly open as he speaks, strangely flickering and exhales, sighing as she gazes oddly ahead. After a moment, she mwrs slightly. "They....He, went a bit over board with revenge....I think." she replies, then frowns, having not seen either before, but the absent elf's voice having been slightly familiar, rumbling softly. "Was...he the one you, ran into last time?"
Dracos casts another glance at the dwarf...he had done it. He had let the rage boil back up inside him, like it did so long ago, and he took someone's life for it...perhaps not even the one he should have. He returns his attention to you, a look of pure sorrow in his eyes "...Y...Yes, he was that one. Why did he come back for me? Why? I didn’t harm him..."
Kya-Kya mwrfs a bit, expression shifting at his look and scoots up a bit, ears folded and helplessly noses. Unable to offer an answer, Kya bites her lip and tentatively leans a little, sighing and shrugs. "Was set on being right, I guess." she growls, and then goes quiet.
Dracos takes a deep breath, letting out a long, low sigh "Well...I...will make him pay. Pay for this...if I survive long enough to." The red tinge begins to creep back into his eyes, but he shakes his head, growling gently and closing his eyes "No...I won't. I will just hope...he does not return.." When he once again opens his eyes, the red tinge is gone.
Kya-Kya's eyes flash softly, keeping her thoughts to herself as she remains tucked up almost in a ball next to him, eyes closing to rest head on her paws. The night grows later as she rumbles softly, tail brushing over his claw as she curls it around.
The raptor's amber eyes peer skywards as the night slowly descends, spreading its blanket across the land. With that blanket comes the after-hours chill, the cold that seems to cut straight to the bone. The large reptile closes his eyes for a few moments as the night chill begins to creep in, then slowly opens them once more, the few stars in the rapidly dimming sky reflecting off the slitted amber orbs "I don’t think night would be the best time for me to be out...I need to find a way to get home." He grunts gently and tries to sit up, manages to lift himself a few inches, then instantly flops back to the ground, a slight growl coming from his slightly parted lips "Damn it. I...don’t think I will be making it back tonight.." Though his voice is hoarse, it does not appear weak. He HAD lost a lot of blood, but thankfully, with your help, it is not life threatening...
Kya-Kya mrfs, shifting back a bit as her eyes sharply glance up at him. Tail twitching, the cat arches to her feet, still staring over. A moment of silence passes as she awkwardly gazes down him, then lightly noses. "I...I could help push you up, of course. Just didn't want to startle." she murmurs.
With a nod of his head, the raptor rolls over onto his front, then slowly begins to push himself up with his claws. The pressure on his shoulder makes him cringe, and blood begins to slowly leak from the still-open wound, but he does not give up. Rather, he pushes even harder, eventually pushing himself into a kneeling position. Now comes the hard part "Ok..I am ready."
Kya-Kya frowns, mwrfing softly as the raptor moves and hesitantly shifts on her feet, watching. Her head tilts close, then pauses before stepping closer and pressing nose to his. "Don't have to do so much..." she gently chatises, air seeming to flow from her to push back against him with -just enough force to hold him upright. Eyes flickering, she awkwardly gazes over and stands next to, glancing at his leg, then up. "K?"
The raptor heaves a massive sigh, nodding his head "Yes, i am fine...just a flesh wound." He tenses and pushes himself up using his good leg. Just a very slight amount of pressure is placed on his bad leg, but even that is enough to get the wound to bleeding again. Not badly, but enough to be annoying. His eyes scan the carnage around him...blood is scattered across the ground in multiple places, and the dwarf...the dwarf's mangled body lays just a few feet away. The air is thick with the tangy, acidic smell of so much spilled blood "Ughh..lets get out of here..." He slowly extends his wounded leg and places it on the ground before him, then quickly shifts his weight to it, extends his other leg, and transfers all his way back to it. The raptor's teeth grits at the pain that courses through his injured limb, but he makes no comment about it, and not a single sound of pain can be heard. Just the stubborn silence of one who's pride is to much to let even pain show "Hm. At least is it not a long walk."
Kya-Kya's ears flick down as she nods, some of the weight taken off of his leg by a gentle press of air, walking on that side slowly along. Shifting her glance often from him to ahead, she follows the raptor home, ignoring their surroundings. Nose wrinkling softly, she says nothing, the pair going quite as they leave the night forest.
