Policy

Character requests will not be processed until you read and agree to these terms and conditions. Previously created characters will henceforth also be held responsible for knowing and following these rules.

First violations will be given a warning, and a discussion will be available, in case of any misunderstandings. Upon second violation, another warning will be issued and all parties in question will stand before the Wiz Counsel where players may defend themselves from being removed. After the third offense, character(s) violating these policies will be removed, and any alternate characters of the player will automatically be given a first violation warning. Repeated offenses with multiple characters will result in having the player banned from the muck, without exception.

  • CONSENT: In any and all interactions with other players, do not do anything that effects their character without consent. To do otherwise is twinking, and will not be tolerated. This includes situations like combat and magic, but also interactions as simple as shaking another fur's hand. As a general rule, describe your action (i.e. I lunge at you with my sword. I hold out an open paw) and let the other player react to that (i.e. I duck and step to the side, trying to avoid the blade, but it hits and opens a large slash into my arm. I shake your paw). Or decide your actions OOC with the other player beforehand.

  • Report instances of twinking to the wizzes if it happens repeatedly or has seriously effected your character in ways you don't want. If someone twinks and you don't agree with the result, page or whisper to the player that they twinked (and be nice, we all make mistakes) and continue RPing as if it didn't happen, giving them a chance to repose without twinking. Along with this, it needs to be said that while you don't have to be killed or even scratched if you don't want to, don't just dodge every attack made on you. Take into account the situation and RP what is likely to happen. Being able to wound an opponent, and taking a few blows yourself, makes for more realistic and exciting combat than just 'I attack, you miss, I attack, you miss, you're dead, no I'm not, you are too...'

Similarly, no one can force you into any RP situation. You may go OOC (see #3) and decline, leave the room, or even move into the OOC realm. If other players refuse to acknowledge your decision, contact a wiz, as this will also not be tolerated. However, as with battle, don't run away from every RP situation. Just because you may not like something does not mean your character would not interact to it IC. Should you have doubts or concerns about the RP, alert the others players OOC, and if necessary, talk to the wizzes.

  • TinySex (role playing sexual situations): It goes on in pretty much all of the mucks, and we're not going to try and stop it, so long as it is with players that are 18 or older in a private room ('private' means that all exits into the room are locked). Outside of private areas, please keep it PG. A character you meet on this muck could be 12 or 40. There is no age restriction on this muck, so don't pose or talk about sexual situations in public.

  • This PG limit also includes your character description. Not having clothes is ok. Describing your private parts is not. Characters with descriptions which violate this rule, if found, will be mailed a warning and the character(s) will be placed in a private area. If the description is not fixed after one RL week, the wizzes will edit it, without exception.

Again, it is stressed that you don't have to role-play anything you don't want to, and TS is no exception (see #1). If someone becomes a problem with pressuring you into role playing TS, or is not keeping things to an acceptable level in public areas, contact a wiz immediately, as violators will not be tolerated.

  • IC/OOC: In-Character areas are meant for in-character play only. Make all Out-Of-Character comments by either typing 'ooc' before your pose, or by paging. The OOC areas are for strictly out-of-character conversations and such, except for any RPing classes or auditions. When in an in-character area, be aware that people are going to be reacting to you ICly, and some people play evil or mean characters. It is not directed to you personally (Sending off an ooc page will probably clear that up for you, if you have doubts.) In OOC character areas, you are expected to be polite and considerate of others.
