So you can get an idea of what has happened before the current problem within the story of the muck, here is a time line. This will be edited as time goes along so everyone can keep up with what is going on. PRESENT DAY-
So far, the year 794 is quiet.
793 AWG:
--Winter
Several villages in northern Cheno-Obier are attacked, all inhabitants massacred. Assailants are unknown, but are rumored to be a rouge group of griffons or young dragons.
--Spring
WinterSky returns to her homeland, Cheno-Obier, and retakes her home to become the Baroness of Tourbillon de Niege. Friedrick von Sabriini, the former baron, is put on trial and sentenced to death for the murder of WinterSky's family. Early in the season, the god known of Seth dies while saving the lives of Sabbath (Guardian of Haven), Silverclaw (Lord of Cat's Haven), and his adopted daughter Tari. Sabbath takes a short leave of absense from everything for several weeks.
--Summer
Wedding of Silverclaw and Tari. Shortly after the Death of Seth, a great veil of inpenetrable shadow falls over the Southern Lands of the Western world (what would be South America) Shortly after, lands in the Northern Realm (what would be North America) are beginning to fall silent and the areas were grow darker. Malicious spirits begin to show with vengance.
--Autum
Turmoil erupts within the Healers' Guild once again but doesn't close the Guild. Grave sites near Cats Haven have been disturbed. Many attribute it to grave robbers, but some tell stories implicating darker forces.
792 AWG:
--Winter
Worst winter in decades. Places not normally seeing much snow are almost buried and coastal towns are struck by damaging storms. A small plague spreads through the Town of Cat's Haven, but is contained and eliminated before it can spread further, though reports of minor breakouts in other towns are filtered back to the temples and Healers' Guild so the cure can be passed on. New Master Healer is appointed to the Healers' Guild.
--Spring
A strange anomoly is reported by a few sensitive beings, not all mages or seers. Described only as a ripple in the flow of time, it can't be explained or the source found. An odd migration of sorts occurs, several towns become almost empty of inhabitants, or are abandoned altogether.
--Summer
Random earthquakes occur along the coastal islands due to a rogue mage. Fatalities run high until a feline taur puts a stop to it when caught in the middle of one such earthquake.
--Autum
Gods of Cat's Haven have begun to notice that some of their lesser shrines now worship some strange new god instead of them. There are rumors of kitsune becoming more active in the area. The first students begin to attend classes at the newly opened mage Guild in the town of Cat's Haven.
791 AWG:
--Winter:
Early in the new year, after the Winter Soltice festivities, Seth excapes his UnderWorld Prison with the aid of Bastet and the books she had collected for him, then promptly disappears again. Bast's presence is is weak, too weak to be felt by her priesthood or those close to her.
--Spring:
With the coming of spring, a new menace is sensed by all powerful to feel the ripples in the aether, but its source is unknown to all. The Mage Guild is set up in Cat's Haven village with Maya and her mate Paeoin named as the head. A new Healer's Guild Master has been named, Nep, but problems are still prevelant within the Healer's Guild Halls. Bast's presence is once again felt as the season warms.
--Summer:
When the summer comes, only a few eye witnesses are found, but the creature still remains a mystery. Most noteable even is the annual meeting of the nobles in Castle Silverclaw and the opening concert of the towns own diva, Kupumzika. The beast threatening the world of Haven is finally named then defeated in a remote forest clearing by Lady Sabbath, her assistant Magus, along with the aid of Seth and WinterSky. Others are rumored to have helped, but remeain a mystery as to where they came from or went to afterwords as well as who and what they were.
--Autum:
Rumors of a new leader of Theives is heard.
By mid fall, a cold air blows across the land, heralding an unnaturally early winter. The higher elevations already have their first snowfalls while the lower areas are getting hard frosts. Winter Storms strike the coastal regions earlier than their normal.
790 AWG:
An uneasy peace spreads over the land and Lady Sabbath returns. Upon her return to Cat's Haven, she formally gives the title of Lord to her son then disappears once again. As winter falls over the land, she is found in various places with a strange wolf which she has named her assistant.
789 AWG:
Trouble brewing from several fronts, mostly from Bastet claiming the most powerful books known to furrykind and helping to free an evil god, Seth. Strange weather conditions are occuring, storms in regions where weather is fair and blizzards attacking deserts. Earthquakes and tremors shakes only certains towns, mostly Cat's Haven village and those associated with the goddess Bast.
788 AWG:
The two other-worlders return, and the Father of all Gods blesses them to the honor of being Gods. They settle in over the ruins of the largest temple in Haven's history, Karnak, and begin to rebuild it.
784 AWG:
The world is calm but visions from within the priesthood and oracles say trouble is on the horizon. The former High Priestess, Kialla dies of natural causes and Kalli-Co takes over after passing the arduous tests of ascension. Bast chooses two guardians to hide two of the most powerful books, the Tome of Keer Gorin and the Book of Bast. Around this time, the founders of Cat's Haven village disappear in the middle of a summers night, leaving Silverclaw, Sabbath's son, in charge.
771 AWG:
Civil war ends and the massive clean up begins. Bastet is stripped of all followers and banished deep into the forests until a council of the gods decides otherwise. A new age of peace begins.
766 AWG:
Civil war breaks out when Bastet tries to rise to power, pitting town against against town. Many deaths and much destruction is done in the battles between Bast and Bastet. Strange weather patterns occur and tremors shake the towns.
761 AWG:
spring-
Sabbath with family and friends in tow finds the clearing in which the village of Cat's Haven now stands. The first stones for the Temple of Bast are set in place within weeks.
late summer-
Sabbath gives birth to her son as the first stones are placed for Castle Silverclaw and the gardens to the Temple are planted. The very first businesses and homes are built.
710 AWG:
Autum-
Sabbath's hunt ends abrubtly with a curse that devastates the last remaining troops of the wolf army. Soon after, she and the strange ferret, Felis Erret, are wed, then the two disappear.
706 AWG:
Late Summer-
In the vast kingdom called Rahi, also known as the Clan Lands to its inhabitants, a wandering army of wolves strike, led by a panther by the name of Dar'sal. Only certain towns and villages are hit, those belonging to the Silverclaw clan (white marked black panters
340 AWG:
Spring-
In the mountain demense of the kingdom of Milesia (elf lands), war begins. Known as the Hiracian War. The war begins with the use of a gem known as the Vesve Forest Gem, known for sumoning armies of great strength to who ever wears it. Kept mostly among the High elves inhabiting the demense, the Hiracian war involves other races as well as gray and wood elves during its ten years. The leader known as Tar Amendil sends his vast armies to overthrow the rogue king, Tar Celebrindor. Losses are great on both sides, but Tar Armendil wins, but not before loosing his summoning gem to a thief within his own ranks.
294 AWG:
An aether plague, the like which Haven hasn't seen for many centuries, strikes, wiping out thousands of mortals, immortals and mages alike. Just as the first snows fall, the once dark guardian and the only known aether healer unite long enough to end the plague, but at the cost of both of their lives, plus Aonghas'. For a period of five years, no magical talent or spell works due to the efforts of the High Priest, the healer and the guardian. During this time, many land disputes rage across the northern continent.
289 AWG:
The goddess Bast disappears for a time with only a few instructions for her priesthood in general. Her High Priest, Aonghas, keeps the priesthood of Bast in smooth running order for when she returns. In mid summer, rumors start to spread about the birth of Bastet and the taming of the dark hearted guardian.
0 After the War of the Gods:
THE 6TH AGE BEGINS: THE AGE OF UNION
After seven long years and hundreds of arduous battles, Seth is defeated by the band of rebels and banished to the Underworld by the Father God for all eternity and peace falls over the lands once again as they begin to rebuild the once majestic lands. Shortly after, the two other-worlders disappear off the face of Haven.
-7 AWG:
Two powerful other-worlders appear from another realm and begin to form a small band of rebels of the strongest remaining warriors. Immediately they begin their campaign to topple Seth's rule, taking out all his governing cities, working their way inward to the center, where Seth's palace rests.
-10 AWG:
Seth finally topples all major kingdoms and sets about claiming the whole world as his domain.
-12 AWG:
Seth begins his unholy conquest to conquer the world, attacking every major kingdom, not taking any prisoners, and not leaving any witnesses. The once majestic cities lie in smoking rubble.
-100 AWG:
Seth arrives on Haven from another world, bearing the title of his homeworld's most powerful warrior. The Father of all Gods make this strong being the God over storm and winds, but little did the he know what darkness lay in Seth's heart.
