After owning a couple of twin engine airplanes I found myself interested in the 310. It's a fun airplane to fly. Many pilots kept telling me that the Skymaster and the Aztec really were not true twin engine flying. They said to get true twin engine flying I needed to fly a 310. Every airplane has its own personality. The Skymaster was a stong but heavy flying platform. The Aztec was a very forgiving flying environment. But the 310….Well, that airplane is very capable of doing what you want it to do as long as you are ahead of it. You need to stay up on the systems and procedures while flying this plane. You really can't drop your guard or you will become very busy in a hurry. |
