SKYMASTER 337 The skymaster was the first plane I ever owned. I bought it sight unseen from a guy in Iowa for $15,000.00. Before I bought it, I did my homework and learned that I could sell off the parts for around $12,000.00, reducing my risk to $3,000.00. I hitched a ride to Iowa and flew it back to Southern California. It turned out to be one of the best deals I ever got on a plane. I flew over 110 hours in it that plane. It is so unique. It's a little different to see the front propeller feathered, still here a motor, and have thrust. If you have not seen the movie BAT 21 check it out. Fuel economy and speed are not what's published in the manual. It burns gas at 20 gallons an hour and is a strong 160-MPH. That HUFF-N- PUFF sure had personality. I can pick one out in the sky just by listening to the engines.
