Text Box: Many years ago I met Sunset Carson in Pennsylvania. He appeared at a place called "Rainbow Ranch" located at The Buck in Lancaster County. He had his horse Cactus with him & put on a sharp shooting show, I remember that . This is probably in the late 40s and early 50s. I don't remember much of that show, but I do remember this part very well.
Later on he built a small western city in Lancaster, PA , it was in an old quarry behind Maple Grove. It contained a jail, a merchandise shop & a stage where they put on shows for the public. At that time he was walking with a cane due to an auto accident previously.
He was my hero at that time. I always wondered whatever became of him. I saw your web page and was very pleased to see it.
This is what I remember of Sunset Carson. Thank you!
