Chapel Hills Presbyterian Church welcomes everyone to our worship services and activities. members and visitors alike. Children of all ages are welcome into the sanctuary during worship. Families are encouraged to worship together, and we believe that older children are able to actively participate in the worship service. However, childcare is provided in our church nursery for children whose parents so desire.

During the prelude, a young person in the church lights the candles on the communion table, reminding us of the Word of God proclaimed through Jesus Christ, the Light of the World. As we prepare ourselves for worship, we open our minds and hearts to receive the light of Christ. At the end of the service, the candles are extinguished, but the light is carried out the sanctuary by a young person to remind us that we are called to carry the good news of the gospel into the world, to witness to Jesus Christ in our daily lives. During this time, the choir sings a choral response.
