dents Answer Final Call During
The Past Week
The grim reaper is exacting its toll with citizens of Limon during the
week….
Frank Silvers, a well known farmer who lived one and one-half miles south
of Limon, died Friday afternoon from a complication of diseases. The
funeral was held from the Baptist church in Limon Sunday afternoon. Mr.
Silvers had been in failing health for some time. Besides a widow, he is
survived by a daughter, Mazie, and a step-son, and his aged parents, Mr.
and Mrs. E. M. Silvers, of Limon. John Silvers of Amy is a brother of the
deceased. The Silvers family is one of the oldest families in Limon.
Mr. Silvers was a member of the Baptist church. The funeral services were
conducted from the Baptist church in Limon Sunday afternoon and were in
charge of the Odd Fellows lodge, of which he was a member. Interment was
made in the Limon cemetery….
