Frank Lee Reynolds was born in Crawford Co. PA, May 9, 1856 to William and Lura Lyman Reynolds. Wm (Tom) & Lura (Lou) moved to Iowa Co. IA after 1861. In 1879, the family of five, (one daughter Lillian Adell having been born in Iowa) moved to Norton Co., KS. Frank married Sarah West January 14, 1884 residing in Phillips Co. KS. They raised their family of four girls and one boy on a farm east of Logan, Phillips Co. KS. Frank died in 1935, his widow Sadie lived until 1952. Frank was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.

Bishop Ron Cole served in the Army for two years after his marriage to Donna Tunnicliff. He worked at Douglas
Aircraft until 1955; then worked for the city of Anaheim for 39 years. After his retirement he continued to work with the children of the Anaheim City School District in a program called, "Kids for Parks."
Converting at age 17, Ron served as a Bishop for 7 years and most recently served as the Anaheim 2nd Ward Mission Leader in the Mormon faith.

Remarks: They were married in Phillipsburg, Kansas June 6, 1925, and lived
in a farm house 5 miles South of Speed. Then they moved to Grandpa
Lafferty's farm South of Logan; then to the Ray farm South of Logan; on to
Betts farm; then the Hindman farm. The first electricity they ever had was
in 1947 while on the Hindman farm when the Rural Electric Association began
there.

Next they bought a farm West of Stockton, near where they built the Webster
Dam. In 1956 they sold the farm and bought a home at 221 North Spruce in
Stockton. The farm they owned has several good producing oil wells now. He
opened an automobile repair shop when they moved to Stockton.

"We lived in Depression years where bread and beans were staples, but we
still have many, many happy family memories" quote Nellie.

Leland Kern was a retired miner having worked in the mines in Leadville, CO. He died at age 62 at his home in Yuma, AZ of cancer.

Elmer Kern graduated from Stockton High School in 1949. He served in the U. S. Army and then began working for the U. S. Department of Agriculture for 35 years. He was County Executive Director for Rooks Co., then transferred to Saline Co, KS. In 1986, he moved to Loveland, CO.
