Blacksmith and a Farmer

Jacob Fischli was born at Zurich, Switzerland, April 29th, 1862, and died near Logan, KS. February 20, 1927. Both of Jacob's parents died while he was yet a child. He has one sister and a niece who live in his native country of Switzerland.

He came to the United States in 1884, took out his first naturalization papers July 22, 1884 in Clay County, KS. He came to Logan, Phillips Co., KS in 1885.

On November 3, 1897, he filed homestead papers on the land his family still lives on.
