Larry Shearer

OTTUMWA - Lawrence E. "Larry" Shearer, 84, of 34 Schwartz Drive, died Nov. 26, 1999 in the parking lot of Lowes in West Des Moines of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Sept. 30, 1915 in Logan, Kan. to James M. and Clara Catherine Alderson Shearer.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Lon Lewis of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Walter B. Schafer Post #775 of Veterans of Foreign Wars and O.B. Nelson Post #3 of the American Legion.
