Amalie Marie (Mollie) Margeurite Pflieger, daughter of John L. Veh was
born May 27, 1903, near Stuttgart, KS, and died at the Norton Co.
Hospital on Jannuary 11, 1979 at the age of 75.
Amalie lived near Stuttgart until 1907 when she moved with her parents
six miles northeast of Densmore where she lived the rest of her life.
She attended the Pikes Peak Country Grade School.
On March 30,1932 she was united in marriage to Fred Pflieger in the St.
Peter's Lutheran Charch. They made their home on a farm northeast of
Densmore where they were active in crop and livestock production.
Survivors include her husband, Fred of Densmore; two sons; Mayard and
wife Hazel of Logan, and Delmar of Colby; on graddaughter, Faye of Logan;
one brother, William Veh and wife Mary of Logan; and aunt, Amalie
(Mollie) Schick of Logan; and many other relatives and friends.

Individual note:
Delmar Pflieger, a graduate of Fort Hays State University, Hay, KS taught
school for 18 years, four years in Densmore, and Lenora for 14 years.
Later he farmed and was a real estate agent. He was born to Frederick
Martin & Amalie Veh Pflieger on May 7, 1937 and died at age 66, May 23,
2003.
