Charles Thomas Shearer

May 3, 1925, to Oct. 10, 2002

Charles Thomas Shearer, 77, of Nevada, died Oct. 10 of a heart
attack in Henderson, Nev.

He was born in Collins on May 3, 1925, to Charles O. and Josephine
M. Shearer. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Phyllis Hanson of Nevada;
a daughter, Maria Loomis; a son, Terry Loomis; and one grandson, all of
Henderson, Nev.; and a brother, Robert D. Shearer of Ames.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two baby sisters and one
son.
