Note for: Frantz Franciscus Scherrer Shearer, BEF 24 MAR 1690 - 1759 Index
bp. March 24, 1690
According to a handwritten genealogy chart, Frantz and Regina either
divorced, or she died as Frantz m. Anna Maria Armbruster in 1729 having
many children with her and these would be half siblings of Johann
Augustus and Johannes that emigrated to America in 1730. Pal-Project has
Frantz Scherrer, age 40 listed on the Thistle of Glasgo in 1730 but he
did not emigrate...we thought he may have died on ship. Now with this new
found information...maybe he decided against emigration, staying in
Lachen-Speyerdorf and Johann & Johanne's mother did emigrate with them.
There is a listing of a Anna Regina with Augustus and Johannes. She could
be another relative with that name.
