Lots 18 - 19 John Wood recorded 8 September 1767, made 18 August between John Waters of FC, carpenter, for L17..10 sterling, sells tract called Good Soil, beginning at a bounded spanish oak and two white oaks, M&B given contaning 50 acres. Signed John Waters before David Lynn, Evan Shelby, Receipt. Ack. and at same time came Preacious, wife of the said John Waters and released dower rights before David Lynn, Evan Shelby.

note*  this puts John and Preacious Waters at lot #18 - 19..close to the time of marriage (1765) of Lois Waters and Andrew Shearer.  Taneytown 4/25/1764, Augustus Sharrer lot # 5  In 1764, Andrew purchased lot #14 based on the agreement that he would build a house of 480 sq. ft. to retain the lot in Taneytown, PA. Andrew's residence was here for a period of twelve years.
