Clear Creek road is just south of Hwy 50 West, to Lake Tahoe, and in fact used to be the old highway. Someday when you are going to Costco just drive right past the entrance to the parking lot and take the short drive to the top. |

The road paved, but is narrow and winding, and there could be deer towards the top. |

Fuji Park is an equestrian events area and a fun place to play frisbee or ball with you dogs. There is a small creek and lots of trees. It is located right across the street from Costco. |

Kings Canyon road was once the stagecoach route to Lake Tahoe and beyond. It starts at the west end of King street and eventually joins in to Hwy 50 near the top of Spooner Summit. If you can get some one to drop you off at the top and pick you up a few hours later at the bottom, it makes for a real nice mountain bike ride, or if there is enough snow, a good cross country ski trail. |

If the road didn't end at Curry street, King street would start just opposite of the Capital building. It is one block south of Musser street. |
