The mission of Goodland Presbyterian Children's Home, Inc. is to provide a variety of Christ-centered child care services which minister to the spiritual, physical, intellectual, psychological and social needs of dependent, neglected and disturbed youth.

This is an outgoing service provided to seniors who are unable to cook for themselves. Each week on Monday and Thursday, beginning at 9:00 a.m., one may enjoy the smells of great cooking coming down the halls. Volunteers are always needed to shop, cook, and to deliver over 50 meals prepared each week.

Presbyterian Urban Mission Food Pantry

Provides families in crises with 3-4 days of food. Most of the 200-300 families that come to the Mission each month are experiencing trouble due to unemployment, illness, divorce or disaster such as a fire. Our most typical client is a single mother with 2-3 young children. The pantry also provides hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, etc. The pantry serves 5 different zip code areas: 73106, 73107, 73111, 73127, and 73142. Clients with other zip codes are referred to the pantry in that zip code area. The pantry is open Monday through Thursday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Referrals are necessary. The Urban Mission food pantry is supplied by the Oklahoma City Food Bank.

Presbyterian Urban Mission is a non-profit agency founded in 1975 by Indian Nations Presbytery. The Mission provides a wide range of emergency social services to needy families in a caring, non-judgmental atmosphere. Funded in part by Indian Nations Presbytery, the remainder of the budget comes from private and individual donations and grants.
All of our programs rely heavily on volunteers which provide the opportunity and challenge for persons to not only support the projects financially, but to also become directly involved in helping the needy in their own community.
