Participating with the 50 + Group is an interesting and fun way to get to see the "world". One enjoys great camaraderie with these delightful active folks who plan and go on wonderful outings. The Choir is a wonderful part of the worship at Church of the Savior. All are invited to participate in singing both traditional and contemporary music. The choir periodically performs cantatas and other special music. The Choir meets every Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m. Be part of this joyous group. Request more information
Deb Goff Roberts is an energetic and enthusiastic Choir Director. She has many years of experience in vocal music and drama. Lou Ann Rice, who serves as church organist and pianist, is an accomplished and well know musician in the Oklahoma City area. She performs frequently with the Rice Dance Band.

Men's Breakfast meet at the church every Thursday at 7:00 a.m. Several good cooks serve up bacon and eggs, delicious casseroles, biscuits, juice, and hot coffee. There is a good time of fellowship and sharing of concerns as well as study of the Bible.

This is an outgoing service provided to seniors who are unable to cook for themselves. Each week on Monday and Thursday, beginning at 9:00 a.m., one may enjoy the smells of great cooking coming down the halls. Volunteers are always needed to shop, cook, and to deliver over 50 meals prepared each week. Request more information

In 1996, a group of Church of the Savior members received special training to be able to use different styles of prayer to pray daily in response to prayer requests submitted by members of the church congregation. Prayer cards, available in the pews, are completed, collected, and brought to the altar during the Sunday church service. The prayer ministers receive copies of each prayer request and pray daily for the people and events described in the requests. Each year there is an opportunity for current prayer ministers and anyone else interested in this important ministry to review, discuss, and learn about prayer from an outside resource person. The Quilters meet every Wednesday from about 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Each participant enjoys not only quilting but great fellowship as well. The Quilters earn money by accepting orders for quilt tops to be quilted by hand. It takes three to four months to complete a quilt top.

The growth of the Youth program has been a central focus at Church of the Savior. The youth meet for Mid. High and Sr. High class on Sunday mornings and Youth Group on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. Request more information

Adult Sunday School has three different and distinctive areas of study. One class is Biblically focused with a new direction each year. Another class is for young (at heart) single or married folks facing some of the challenges to living God's word today. The other class is studying different church oriented issues. Beginning June 4 and concluding July 9, your child is invited to VBS each Wednessday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00. The curriculum will be Lighthouse Kids. Enrollment fee is $7.50. Financial assistance is available to those in need.

The Women of the Church meet at the church the second Tuesday of each month. September through May at 10:00 a.m. Coffee and light refreshments are served. The meetings include a short Bible Study using a special study book and a short meeting.
