Welcome to the world of Mater. Mater is a fantasy world where wizards and dragons exist. Knights on horseback protect the week. Good and evil battle while the Gods watch indifferently. Mater is a world of legend. It possesses unthinkable beauty and unspeakable horror. It is a world ripe with adventure.
This site is designed to provide players background information for my fantasy campaign. I intend this background to be a work in progress as I never expect to fully detail all of Mater. Some mystery is good. However, I do intend this to be an excellent guide to project the imaginations of my players into a world unlike our own. I hope to provide information that will add dimensions to the campaign and give the players knowledge that their daring heroes would have. Enjoy the site.
