Stories Along the Rio Pecos

John H. Wilson

as told to Sue Wilson

After being out of print for several years, the third printing of Land of the High Sky is now available.  This book tells stories told by John H. Wilson, a lifelong rancher near Pecos, Texas as compiled by Sue Wilson.

These are stories beginning in the early 1900’s of ranch life along the Pecos River, as a cowhand in the Sierra Madre mountains of Mexico, working in the West Texas oilfields and collecting the artifacts of this era.

This third printing adds a page of brands from ranches along the Rio Pecos in New Mexico and more than 25 additional black and white photographs.
