As of January 2003, Local 9510 consist of members from SBC with 2790 members, VERIZON with 752 members, AVAYA with approximately 27 members, AT&T with 80 members and Data Comm with 30 members. The area served by Local 9510 is Orange County. For local telephone companies, SBC serves all of Orange County except for Huntington Beach, Westminster and Laguna Beach, which is served by Verizon. Lucent's service area is also Orange County.

There are many active committees including a Community Services Committee and Legislative Committee. The Community Services Committee has activities for the local's members and also reaches out into the community and participates in community programs. We have Membership meetings the first Tuesday of every other month. They would be February, April, June, August, October and December. The meetings start at 6:30 p.m. We serve food before the meeting for your convenience and we also provide child care during these meetings. All members are encouraged to attend.
