Cynthianna Appel (aka "Cindy") describes herself as "a novelist, columnist, essayist, manuscript evaluator, book reviewer, and freelance writer--but not necessarily in that order on any given day."

Her first highly acclaimed contemporary romance novel, The Fixer-Uppers, was followed closely by Country Boy, City Girl. Her contemporary romantic-comedy, Beautiful Dreamer has garnered great reviews. Another romantic-comedy, Scrambled Eggs, was published byTriskelion Publishing as well. The title of her recent chick-lit romance is Seven Ways to Seduce a Martian.

Upcoming books include yet another romantic-comedy, and more erotic fiction written under the pen name Celine Chatillon.

Cindy's short fiction appears in the whimsically titled anthology Three Naked Ladies Playing Cellos and in Monthly Short Stories and at both Amazon.com's "Amazon Shorts" and Authorlink's "Storylink.com" sites.

Cindy's non-fiction titles and first children's book, The Best Christmas Gift, are featured on the Cindy Appel web site.

Cindy is a past president of the Missouri Chapter of the Romance Writers of America and a long-time member of the Darkstormy Writers Group. She also belongs to EPIC, World Romance Writers, the Saturday Writers Group, the Writers Society of Jefferson County (Missouri Writers Guild) and the Romance Writers of America and has written numerous articles about crafting and submitting manuscripts.

In her spare time, Cindy sings with the Sweet Adelines International championship chorus, The River Blenders, and in the festival choir at church. She enjoys tutoring English-as-a-Second-Language students so eventually they'll be able to read her books.

Cindy lives with her husband, two teenage daughters and one very bossy kitten. Known for her outrageous sense of humor and her quick smile, Cindy is happiest when hiding behind her computer terminal typing her heart out and avoiding telephone sales pitches.
