Copper Red

Copper red glazes are some of the most interesting and difficult to work with, requiring a very precise firing schedule and monitoring of the kiln atmosphere.  Below are some examples from recent firings, where the kiln gods bestowed beautiful, rich, ruby reds over the entire surfaces of the forms.
