Today's ride was HILLY! After a quick pedal to St. Mary's, aided by a nice northwesterly tailwind, we turned north and into the teeth of it. At the same time, the terrain became hilly. I mean, HILLY! After about 20 miles of hills and wind, we turned east again, and rolled into the town of Holton.

Here, the three BAK routes combined at the high school. The town of Holton did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome. On the town square, there were food booths set up by many different organizations. Pie, BBQ, homemade ice cream, chili dogs. It was a feast!

Also, a local bluegrass band provided entertainment. Later, some rock/punk/thrash bands performed.
Only 44 miles to Missouri!
