No Sex #7

This issue was published by Dan Watson under the Galactic Enterprises logo. It featured 64 reduced digest pages on white stock. It is listed as Aug-Sept 1977, it was put out about two months after NS6 and started to establish the two month cycle for publishing. I was still stationed in Germany when this issue came out and was letting Dan do the publishing because of my duties overseas and I didn't want to learn the German printing system. One interesting aspect of this issue is the number of ads I got together for NS7, this I took as a testament to the popularity of the zine and they did help me print the zine. I have an ad for Space and Time in the issues, I don't know if Gordon paid for it, I surely would have run it for free,

Contents: Front and back covers by David Heath, and I really wasted the back cover on this one. I thought a lot about that in later issues.

The cover continues a tradition by featuring the lead story which is my, The Crime Satellite which is a classic The Lob story. The issue also featured strips The Rescue Stephen Schwartz and short strip by Brad Foster. Prose tracked with the prior issues with Dan Watson getting two pieces in this issue and a short piece, The Beauty by Clifford Meth.

David Heath, Chad Draper, Ken Meyers Jr., Stephen Schwartz, C Robert Oliver, SSG Hugh Beaumont, Dan Watson, Lari Davidson, Terry Kaegin,  Sam Park, Mike Dooney, Robert Barger, Clifford Meth, Earl Geier, Gay Brewer.

Notes:

I really liked the cover to this issue. I was striving to simplify my art and make it more technical than sketch. I that I'd say I was trying to be more representational than exact in my art. I don't believe we knew about the new structure of the rings of Saturn or I would not have made this the subject system of this story. I was very in to astronomy when I was young and liked my stories to reflect that knowledge in my stories.
