The Globs
From my early days I have wanted to draw. Being a shy sort I preferred that to finding friends and such, though I did like sports. Being impatient and untrained in art, some time in Jr. High (I think while I was going to Richard Henry Dana JHS in San Pedro) I developed the quickly drawn characters I called Gremlins. No more than a head, arms and feet I practiced drawing them for hours on end. When I moved to Panama, my friend Jim Gray informed me the name Gremlins was taken by another cartoon character and he suggested "The Globs". I have never really liked that name for them, but I admit it seems appropriate.
