The SF Quarterly

The USF Literary Magazine, as I remember it, it was actually yearly..

This is the issue I worked on under Al Sakuda and with A Dulay. The English Dept hated this flower in bowling ball photo. I thought it was neat. They never contributed, so who cares!!

This was my first issue as editor. It got good reviews nation wide. I found the cover artist drawing on the commons at school. I loved to print new talent.

The famous office wall where I would hang my latest strips, the infamous flower in bowling ball photo which the English Dept hated so much can be seen.

Me, still in my ROTC garb, using color on a Space Tubs strip with my famous USA bike pack.

Big Al Dulay, he had art in No Sex magazine. behind him the wall of shame, sometime in 1973.

This was the issue that was in production when I started working with the Quarterly. I did some layout work on it and got some art in.

Al and Terry Sakuda, recent photos. Al was basically my Mentor at The Quarterly and the editor before me, but he basically taught me the layout style I used on my personal publications. Terry is his wife, I was at their wedding..many years back!
