The SF Quarterly
The USF Literary Magazine, as I remember it, it was actually yearly..

This is the issue I worked on under Al Sakuda and with A Dulay. The English Dept hated this flower in bowling ball photo. I thought it was neat. They never contributed, so who cares!! |
This was my first issue as editor. It got good reviews nation wide. I found the cover artist drawing on the commons at school. I loved to print new talent. |

The famous office wall where I would hang my latest strips, the infamous flower in bowling ball photo which the English Dept hated so much can be seen. |
Me, still in my ROTC garb, using color on a Space Tubs strip with my famous USA bike pack.
Big Al Dulay, he had art in No Sex magazine. behind him the wall of shame, sometime in 1973. |
This was the issue that was in production when I started working with the Quarterly. I did some layout work on it and got some art in. |
Al and Terry Sakuda, recent photos. Al was basically my Mentor at The Quarterly and the editor before me, but he basically taught me the layout style I used on my personal publications. Terry is his wife, I was at their wedding..many years back! |
