Do I have to be a member of Holy Cross parish?NO, you do not. We hold our meetings at Holy Cross Catholic Community, 3175 Goldy Way, Sparks. Most Knights prefer to belong to a council that is affiliated with their parish since the council is active in supporting the parish.
Are there other Knights Councils in the Reno/Sparks area? YES. There are five other councils in the Reno/Sparks area. These councils meet at St. Thomas Cathedral, 310 W. 2nd, Reno; St. Albert's Rectory, 1259 St. Albert's Drive, Reno; St. Michael's Church, 14075 Mount Vida, Stead; Our Lady of the Snows, 1138 Wright, Reno; and Immaculate Conception Church, 590 Pyramid Way, Sparks. Additional information can be obtained from the local District Deputy, Michael Caudell (775 356-5933).

Some of the events include picnics, family dinners, Christmas party, Installation of Officers picnic, UNR tailgate party, Tootsie Roll Drive, and Communion breakfasts. These events are listed in the newsletter and on our website at CALENDAR.
I like your activities, but I don't like meetings. Do I have to attend the monthly meetings? Business meetings are where events are planned, ideas exchanged, leadership developed, and friendships formed. This is where Knights volunteer to be part of an upcoming activity. Attendance at business meetings is not mandatory, but by not attending you will miss a major reason for being a Knight.
Where do you meet? We meet at Holy Cross Catholic Community, 3175 Goldy Way, Sparks. Directions are simple. Take Barring Boulevard in northeast Sparks (it runs between McCarran Blvd and Sparks Blvd) to Goldy Way. Turn north on Goldy Way and continue for 1 1/2 blocks. The church is on the left. We meet in the Mini Hall at the far end of the building. We are hoping to begin meeting at the new Holy Cross facility shortly. There are some final construction items that need to be completed before we can. The new Church is located on Vista Boulevard north of Disc Drive on the way toward Wingfield Springs and the Red Hawk Golf Course.
What else is there to do as a Knight? We have five main areas in which we get involved: Church, Community, Council, Family, and Youth. You may find additional information in our Newsletters and in our Calendar. There is also a good description of each area in the Director's page. This is a listing of all the possible things we get involved in. If we are not currently involved in an activity you want to do, contact the appropriate Director and volunteer!
I don't see my question listed. Who can I contact? You may contact the Grand Knight, Marv Cochran. Click on either name to send them an email.
