1977- Accept was formed in the city of Cologne Germany.

1979- "Accept", the self titled first album was released.

1980-"I'm a rebel" was released.

1981-The breakthrough year for Accept. After the "Breaker" album release, they

supported Judas Priest during a tour of the UK and started getting attention.

1982-The release of an album that is often found in top 100

metal album lists- "Restless and Wild."

1983- "Balls to the Wall", their most popular album is released.

1984- No album was released because the band spent much of this year

touring the US for the first time.

1985-"Metal Heart" is released and they tour Japan for the first time

1986- The release of "Russian Roulette."

1987- The band breaks up due to differences in direction. Udo wanted to

stay heavy! The rest of the band wanted to try a more pop style.

1989- "Eat the Heat" is released with little success.

1993- The original lineup reforms. As a four piece for the

first time they release "Objection Overruled."

1994- Release of "Death Row." Touring was cut short due

to Peter breaking his leg.

1995- "Predator is released."

1996- After touring the US, Accept announces that the following European

tour will be the last tour and possibly the end to an awesome 20 years of excellence!
