How does the premiere heavy metal band of the eighties make a record that is relevant in 1995? If the band is ACCEPT that's no problem, when they continue to write killer original songs like the thirteen new tracks that make Death Row. Says legendary frontman Udo Dirkschneider of their tenth and finest full length release, "We try to incorporate topics that interest us personally", and Udo never fails to please the legions of loyal ACCEPT fans. Death row also includes two instrumentals to close out the album, "Drifting Apart" and a blazing version of the traditional "Pomp and Circumstance". With Death Row being released worldwide through BMG music, ACCEPT came to Pavement Music, the label with independent attitude and major distribution for their North American release. ACCEPT will be welcomed back to the U.S. to support death Row in mid-1995. Their last U.S. tour in 1993 was widly successful, the highlight of which was their much talked about launch at that year's Foundations Forum convention. In one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a recording group, Accept's Balls To The Wall release has just been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in recognition of over 500,000 units sold in the U.S. of that album. Death Row will be released in the U.S. on March 14th, 1995. All of us at Pavement Music are proud to have the Accept part of the label!
