“Without
change there would be no new adventures!”
“Love what you do, or don't do it!”
Words that have brought me to this point in my life!
Having survived a 4 year stint at a Southern Baptist University in North
Carolina with a degree in Biology/Pre-Med, Matt was lured by the forces
of Nature to accept a National Touring gig in She Loves Me,
which transplanted him to NYC.
After a few years in the City performing everywhere it seems - from
Off-Broadway in Jayson (45th Street Theatre),
The
Velveteen Rabbit (Promenade Theatre), and *change
at babylon (Carnegie Hall) to storefronts My First
Time with Barbie (Best Actor in a Play) and Cabaret Clubs
Mother's Other Lives, Matt garnered more respect for his
craft. After a European Tour of West Side Story
as Chino, he returned to find a place at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company's School at
Steppenwolf for 3 months.
Arriving in LA with a clean slate, a year of classes and networking
led to his first job on the last episode of Diagnosis Murder.
Here's to an amazing and successful career!
