Welcome to KA5OWI's Ham Radio Web Page

Welcome to my ham radio page. I was first licensed in Houston, TX in 1982. I now hold an Extra Class amateur radio license and a FCC General Radiotelephone (Commercial Radio License). I enjoy DX hunting, packet radio, and occationaly like to play around with APRS. A couple of the papers on the wall are DXCC (mixed and phone) and Worked All States (W.A.S.). This site will have listings of links that I have run across that are radio related. If you have any trouble with any of them, please send me an e-mail and I will try to correct the problem. If you have any other good links, let me know that too and I will add them to the list.
