This soul portrait represents a lifetime lived in and around 400 B.C. in an area populated by native peoples and Greeks. It existed East of Greece .. perhaps a few hundred miles. The temple you see here was built near a series of cliffs which seemed to be part of an escarpment. Caves had been excavated there over time within a set of natural caves and a waterfall fell over the cliffs themselves. Within the cave system was a natural mineral spring. The temple was small but was well known in that area. Rhydonna was a temple priestess who worked as a healer and prophetess as did her fellow sisters. there they used herbs along with the healing wisdom of the day, the natural mineral springs and a form of dream/prophetic therapy to help their charges heal. all sorts of diseases were treated there, from simple physical ailments to more complex mental, emotional and spiritual wounds. |
